Slow Food is an Italian movement- not the speed of service. It refers to use of local produce and not mass-produced food. Other reviews make it clear this place has character and is very small. Service was so friendly and quick and the food excellent. I had blackened grouper and it was just right for me. Wine recommended by the... More

If you enjoy eating freshly sourced food cooked perfectly in a quiet, outdoor setting, this is the place for you! My husband and I ate there on Jan. 16. It was a little chilly, so rather than eat outside by the fire pit, we opted for one of the enclosed huts, that fits only TWO tables! Talk about quiet atmosphere,... More

We'd seen the reviews for this place and it looked nice for breakfast. We sure weren't disappointed. Our needs were pretty simple granola and yogurt, a glass of juice, and pot of English tea. Everything was presented well, the staff were friendly. It was sunny but cool, but the garden is sheltered from the breeze. We loved watching the little... More

Cold morning breakfast in Florida. Sat in covered area but could see my breath, patio heater not working. Cooks first day so could hear lots of arguing between wait staff and cook. Eggs Benedict were good if slightly overdone, but very tasty. Coffee was excellent. Just not an enjoyable, relaxed place to dine.

This restaurant has the most adorable garden. We were there on a very cold day so we ate on a little porch. They had an amazing outdoor heater which was extremely unique. The restaurant is the ultimate in shabby chic - just delightful and the menu is extensive, reasonable and the food was excellent. And it's dog friendly!!!

This is a small farm to table restaurant with a great selection of local wines and craft beers. I had the blackened scallops and the parmesan crusted tilefish, both were excellent. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff. Nick and Taylor - it was actually her first night and I was apparently her first customer - were incredibly attentive... More

First time ever in St. Augustine, we were flying blind, saw Crucial Coffee Cafe when we were walking around last night, so we went this morning for coffee, and sat in this wonderful little garden area to drink it. My wife went into the Gourmet Hut next door to get a breakfast Burrito, and found out the two places are... More

Such a cute place we happened upon. Not busy during Nights of Lights as everything else was booked solid. Service had a nice medium pace. Since there were no prices we were too afraid to order any entrees. We got 3 appetizers & 2 bread, oil & olive plates & a cheese cake. My husband got a special tea. We... More

Lovely find in the historic district. Terrific food in a garden setting, with printed burlap tablecloths adding just the right touch of rustic charm. The menu is wide-ranging and the wine list surprisingly extensive. Been there twice so far. Planning to go back!

We were very attracted by the pleasant outdoor setting but service was barely apparent and with no menus we had no way to know how atrociously expensive ($$$$$) this place was. The food was rather lacklustre for the price and the wait. We waited over 2 hours for our entrees, luckily it was a pleasant, mild evening until a bum... More
