When I was told that this was THE place to get a great juicy burger I was all over it. I ordered the Black and Blue Burger, asked for rare, and the server really did ascertain if I wanted "juicy rare" or "pink rare". I replied I wanted juicy rare. The burger came, it was well done but probably because... More

A friend and I were looking for a halfway point to meet for a late lunch and, after researching TripAdvisor, we decided on Gas. Selling features were its high TA ranking among the list of restaurants in St. Augustine and, equally important, discovering that the restaurant makes every effort to avail locally grown/produced, non-GMO, non toxic food sources. We had been meaning to give this restaurant a try during our previous trips to the area but just never seemed to get in. This time with a month in the area we were able to drop by and even though it was late in our stay, we found a way to get back a second time. We tried a... More

We were visiting, and came here after having a good experience a couple of years ago (January 2014- you can see my review). Well, it wasn't as amazing as our first time. Still good, but it's not on our list to return to. It's a small place, and seemed to stay pretty steady. They staff was great. Casual atmosphere. Located... More

Just over the Bridge of Lions on Anastasia Island. Fun, colorful decor like an over sized diner. Wait staff is so friendly it's like dinner at a family home. At lunchtime you can't go wrong with the half sandwich & cup of tomato basil soup combo . Grilled cheese comes with your choice of 2 of their many cheeses &... More

Stopped in here on a whim for a quick lunch after seeing the great reviews on trip advisor. We had an amazing burger and delicious craft beer. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A definite must anytime we are in St Augustine!

The service is excellent. They have a wide variety of craft beers. A diverse menu with grass fed local meats and poultry. Fresh local caught fish and all local produce. We will definitely be returning. I had the flounder sautéed with sweet potato fries fresh coleslaw

The restaurant was actually a gas station at one time hence, the name! The restaurant isn't anything fancy at all but, kind of art deco-ish which works for what the building used to be. If your looking for a cozy romantic dinner, this isn't the place for you. The food is however, very good & fresh. Had the Ruben egg... More

We were so excited to come here after hearing about it from family members. We came for Friday night date night and we were so intrigued by the grass-fed, locally grown, fresh made food with fresh ingredients! We both ordered burgers and with all the stuff on them (pickles, friend green tomatoes, jalapeños, onions) we expected flavor, but they were... More

Doesn't look much from the outside or the decor inside, a bit quirky. However, very good and tasty food with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.Reasonably priced. Within spittind distance of Edgewater Inn. Recommended
