Don't let the blah exterior of the restaurant fool you. It is classy food inside with excellent service. We were a party of 6 and none of us had any hint of a complaint except there was too much to eat. Our family in St. Augustine go here frequently and we now know why. In the area? Like seafood? Eat... After sitting in a hospital all day long with a family member, my husband and 2 adult children came here for a late dinner. We're frequent visitors to SA but had not yet tried the Black Molly Grill. It's a very casual restaurant. Pretty though. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was amazing! We were told that the... More

The Black Molly is one of my favorite casual restaurants in St. Augustine. Just had the Curry Coconut Conch soup today with the fish tacos. Both "to die for". We enjoy wine with our meals and the Black Molly has an impressive list with one of the lowest mark up rates of any dining establishment anywhere. Not over-the-top atmosphere, but... More

It has come to my attention that my name was used in a negative post on this site by JoeM on November 9, 2014. For the record, Black Molly is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Augustine. I can decide for myself if I like or don't like where I eat and was appalled to see my name associated... More

The food is fresh and the service is consistently good. We enjoy Kristie's personal service. She remembers our personal tastes and is attentive. It is always enjoyable and leave happy and satisfied.

To say that The Black Molly is a 'good' place to eat...is doing this restaurant a great disservice. The food quality is impeccable, and the service is top notch, the desserts are decadent and homemade. I have to say that my husband and I stumbled upon The Black Molly by accident three years ago on my birthday...we were set to... More

We enjoy going to Black Molly for fish tacos and crab cakes. Crab cake does have a good bit of dill but it is still good. ( not a Maryland crab cake). Service is relaxed but efficient---- no problem there. Be sure to crab a few key lime mints on the way out!!!!!!!

Very disappointed as a local and a regular to be ignored by the co-owner. I got a warm welcome by the co-owners wife, Kate who is always very nice. Most of the summer I went to places that had music along with great food, the Black Molly does not, it is a converted Hooters and noisy with little atmosphere. Ryan... More

We always like to get to black molly when in S.A. Never disappointed. Did call ahead so waited only about 15 minutes. We both had fish items (I had swordfish, my husband grilled shrimp and scallops) that tasted like fresh off the boat. Waitress was attentive and professional. Great key lime pie. Definitely a top shelf restaurant.

Went to celebrate my friends birthday at lunch. Seated immediately, but it took a few minutes for the waitress to get there. We took about 10 minutes to decide and order. Ordered an appetizer which took 30 minutes to get to our table. It took another 25 minutes to get the soup and at least 10 minutes after that to... More
