Place was empty and it took 30 min to get a sandwich made? People were coming in and out just to socialize with the girl working there. I had to keep interrupting her so she would move along making my to go sandwich. Turned out it was not worth the wait. This deli has changed owners quite a few times... More

I am new to St Augustine and have been tying a lot of new places and this is one I will never ever go back to. My husband and I stopped in Sunday morning to grab a bite on the way to walk on Vilano Beach. Bob the person that was working the counter took our order, I got a... More

We are absolutely horrified and embarrassed. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. Nothing that you mentioned in your review was intentional, we sincerely mean that. My wife prepared your food and I rang your order. Thank God we have a DVR system that we can review when issues as these arise, and unfortunately sometimes they do.... More

Fish Tales is a small short-order restaurant and convenience store in a little strip mall next to a marina on the Vilano Beach Causeway. The food was fine, straightforward breakfast food served at a very reasonable price. Without doubt, the best thing about the meal was the biscuits, which are light, fluffily and split in half and warmed on a... More

Walk in, place order, sit down. Maybe wander around and look in the area where the groceries are (not big, but some specialty items-including Datil pepper products, made locally). I had the burrito made milder, flavorful-but still spicy. Harald had the dish with the sausage gravy and biscuit, eggs, bacon. Not as big as it sounds, but definitely filing. The... More

I've eaten her two times. My only con is I had to eat outside (kids wanted to). It was hot even at 8:30. The pancakes are really good but huge. Think about sharing. Especially for kids. I got the omelet . Added hot sauce and really enjoyed. One lady owns and operates. Takes a little while for her to cook... More

Based on a local Vilano Beach resident's recommendation, we stopped here for breakfast. The local said it was at the beginning of the bridge from St. Augustine to Vilano Beach and that it was the best breakfast around. It was a great breakfast: the French toast, biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon were all just wonderful. But a couple or... More

Every time we have visited St. Augustine this is one place we always go. Great breakfast and TONS of food! I normally won't eat "sweet" stuff for breakfast but I make an exception with these Pancakes! And the Breakfast Burrito-Spicy and delicious! Not to mention the gal cooking up our food showered us with great stories and conversation. Thanks!

We enjoyed this place very much. It is NOT what you think from the outside! Inside there are great lunches and sandwiches. An extensive selection of beers and wines. The "cook" has been at it for years and it shows. But the best part is the friendly people working there. It was a lucky find for us. Try it for... More

We were very taken back when we got our food & ate. Walking in it looks like a convenient store with tables. Its small & the lay there was very friendly & inviting. We talked about the lady on the news that dragged her 1 month old down the aisle on her dress train (that was a terrible thing to... More
