Delicious food, and healthy too!

This was hands down the best meal we had in St. Augustine. I was really puzzled by the negative reviews. The only explanation I can think of it is rather informal for the price point, and maybe some folks don't get it. It is great food in a pleasant setting with good service, but it's more of a... read more

This is a very eclectic little place. Took over an hour to get it so we had high hopes, but they forgot about us and once we asked when we'd be seated they said "oh right now". No apologies. They just acted like they hadn't forgotten about us. Took waitress 20 min to get our order. Once we ordered she... More

While in St. Augustine, I asked a local shop owner for a lunch recommendation. Without hesitation, she said to head for the Floridian. We were glad she did. Laid back, old Florida atmosphere, a small bar area, and some outside seating both in front and back. Interesting menu, great food and friendly service from Megan. We tried the salad with... More

It can be difficult to find creative and healthy vegetarian cuisine, but The Floridian meets all that and does so in such a fun and eclectic atmosphere. It was great to go somewhere to feel that there were a variety of well-thought options to choose from for not only vegetarian, but those that are gluten-free and vegan as well. Everything... More

Our boat captain from St. Augustine Eco Tours, Zach, recommended that we go to The Floridian for lunch. He could not have made a better suggestion! The location was ideal and the building was quaint and beautifully decorated. Simple. Comfortable. The beer list was fantastic, which you can't say about many places. But this was almost overshadowed by how amazing... More

We're in town for our honeymoon. A friend went to Flagler College and suggested The Floridian. What a great recommendation! We were not disappointed. The ambiance is very cool...beachy chic. The food was very delicious. The favors were amazing. I had the BLT Salmon. My husband had the Green Curry Bowl with Chicken. Both were really terrific. They offered what... More

My grandmother was born and raised in South Florida and the decor reminded me of her home. She was a great cook and the Floridian is a great place to eat also. Very fresh menu items with lots of options to try out. We got there at 2 in the afternoon so no waiting. The desserts are to die for!... More

We had lunch at The Floridian on the recommendation of a retail shop. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing and great value. The wait staff person was extremely helpful, polite and people oriented. She was the woman with the earth, wind, and fire tattoo and if I owned a restaurant, she'd be managing the place. I rarely feel... More

When you visit St. Augustine do not miss The Floridian - after visiting St. Augustine for more than 30 years - and this restaurant is one of our favorites. Definitely more for adults than kids (if the kids prefer mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, burgers). Portions are large - perfect for 2. I suggest each getting a different item and... More
