My husband and I read about this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. I would suggest calling them ahead of time as it is a small place and can fill up quickly. My husband had the special Wahoo blackened with a corn souffle which he did... More

The food and service was good, but the dining area can be a bit loud. As a soft spoken individual the atmosphere was not conducive to conversation.

My husband's birthday lunch place was this quirky, fresh, locavore location. My fried green tomato sandwich was fresh and succulent. The roll was crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. My husband had the fresh catch Chipwich minus the blue cheese and also enjoyed it. We skipped dessert though their baked goods looked great. The wait staff... More

Great food- very healthy and really enjoyed it. Better get there early, as it gets very busy. Can't wait to go back!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We felt relieved that a restaurant like the Floridian thrives here in FL. Fresh, local produce cooked with care and innovation while honoring Southern tradition-- huge portions and great flavors. The pork chop was perfectly cooked. I loved the house made pickles. I wanted to eat more but was too full. Friendly, although inattentive service.

My family and I ate there on July 23rd 2014. We first sat inside and then asked if we could move outside since the weather was beautiful. I'm not really one to try new foods but I figured since my husband wanted to eat here I would try it. We started with the fried pickles and boy were they amazing!... More

The food served here is local, farm-to-table. It tastes as good as it looks & is so fresh. My husband who always judges a restaurant by its fish had the burrito with the fresh catch & really liked it. I had the shrimp & grits & it was wonderful. Some of the best I've had anywhere. Pretty much everything on... More

We stopped in for a quick snack and it was wonderful. We had the fried green tomato bruschetta it was very fresh and well made. The atmosphere is really inviting and they support local farmers . The desserts they have on display look amazing. We would defiantly return for lunch or dinner. FYI they are closed Tuesday lunch.

Family of four with one local beer drinker looking for good local food and an easy relaxed place to eat with kids. Found the ideal spot at the Floridian (with new bakery type place in back of it). Enjoyed a local beer at the bar while waiting for our table. Indoor or outdoor seating, both were great. Outside back garden... More
