It can be tough to find a restaurant that has something out of the ordinary, but The Floridian's menu is not typical... And that's a good thing. We had two of the best, most interesting salads here. They were really main dishes with flair... Very generous, extremely fresh and with an unusually creative combination of ingredients. If the salads are... More

We loved the idea of locally-sourced food and looked forward to our dinner here. Unfortunately our food was incredibly disappointing. It was on the more expensive side and so not worth it. The burgers were chewy and hard on the outside. The texture was that of a very cheap cut of beef. We couldn't even finish it. My husband had... More

I had a kind of Salmon which was excellent and delicious. My wife (Vegetarian) did eat a Salad which was excellent as well. You have to taste the Caramel Brownies! ;) Very friendly, nice people! We'll come back again definitely!

Perhaps it is because this place was so hyped up by our innkeeper that our expectations may have been set too high. I like the setting and our server was excellent. I ordered a soup that was tomato-based and it was very good. The rest of the meals were very average. I like the concept of serving food from local... More

We were looking forward to this as our concierge recommended it. It is casual which is great, but the tables are situated so close to each other I felt like we were the entertainment. The food was only OK. We ordered specials which I can't even remember. Service was good. Would not recommend.

Went here for dinner out first night in St. Augustine and loved it. We both had the pepper soup and it was excellent, then split an entree. Great casual place for great food. Jim and Linda Munro Korner Kottage Bed & Breakfast Suttons Bay, MI

This place has a funky vibe decorated with 50's Florida souvenirs - the small bar is at the back of the house. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was great and the wine list had several bottles we enjoy. We ate early so the restaurant wasn't packed. We started out with their picked shrimp which was... More

My family eat lunch here during spring break. It was a little busy. The food was good. I had fish and a salad. The greens were fresh and the fish was good. The staff was nice. I would eat here again.

On 2 recent day trips to St. Augustine, we were 2 of a party of 4 who very much enjoyed lunch time at The Floridian. Near the door, they post the name of all their suppliers...all Florida or southeast, nearby states. It is not big. It appears to be a converted home. They do offer outdoor seating. I'm not totally...
