Description: The Hyppo is a gourmet popsicle shop that makes all of its own products using only fresh, natural ingredients. From fresh basil to ripe mangoes to blazing ghost peppers, you're sure to find flavor combinations here that expand the notion of what an ice pop can be. All pops are gluten free and vegetarian, and about half of our selection is dairy free. We use Florida evaporated cane juice to mildly sweeten the fruits and herbs before their flash-freeze onto a small birch stick. On a hot day in the historic district, this is the pinnacle of flavorful refreshment. Open late.

Our hotel front desk suggested we try the Hyppo for a refreshing & all natural frozen popsicle. After walking around we stopped in & were very glad we did. We went out back onto their shady bench & enjoyed a nice cold frozen treat.

Visiting St Augustine for the first time and randomly found The Hyppo on line. It was immediately added to our itinerary. I quickly ordered a box for my daughter in California before ever stepping in the place, you just know when you have found something worth while. Hyppo did not disappoint, four of us had different flavors, one better then... More

Great popsicles so many flavors to choose from, and really friendly staff. I wish I could have tried more but the Pina Colada was very tasty.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, and great all natural hand made ice cream. I highly recommend the 'Elvis'. Make this a priority stop while visiting St. Augustine.

Amazing variety of gourmet popsicles that all looked delicious. Nice rooms in back to eat in and a courtyard too. They are all natural. I would go there again.

I haven't had gourmet popsicles before, but these were spectacular. The number of flavor combinations is huge. They have a few recommendation on a chalk board, but wait till you see the selection in the cabinets. I can't begin to list all the flavors. I had an Elvis (peanut butter, banana and something) and my wife had strawberry and Datil... More

I found this shop by pure chance. It was hot and humid and when I saw the sign I thought a popsicle would have been perfect. I did not know what to expect when I entered. The flavours were quite weird and I was intrigued. My girlfriend had a champagne and mango popsicle I had a coconut and avocado popsicle.... More

I love stopping here whenever I am in St. Augustine. The pops are so refreshing and packed with fresh ingredients. My favorite is the honey dew and the strawberry basil is also very good. Perfect on a hot summer day or night.

Traveling with my partner and my son, we'd already late breakfasted and were not looking for a "dining" experience. We were, rather, trying to ignore the swelter and to stay in the shade as we perused Old Town St. Augustine. We were intrigued by the the sign for The Hyppo's popsicles. The popsicles were far from the ordinary, rather they... More
