Beer, Beer, and More Beer

We specifically choose to stop by J.P. Henley's on our way through St. Augustine because of their beer selection and we weren't disappointed. Lots of draft beer and wine taps as well. The selection is both deep and wide. This is a very interesting place. Peter the bartender was very knowledgeable... read more

Great lunch and really cool beers! Ahi Tuna sandwich was delicious and the Shrimp and Mushroom Empanadas are a must have.

Saw their ads in the local magazines featuring mouthwatering Rubens stuffed with delicious looking meat. Pity the cook had never seen the pictures, because what we got was nothing like them. Three little slices of meat accompanied by a thimble full of hard potato salad. There was two tables occupied when we arrived and none when we left..... That should... More

We went here for a light supper and a beer based upon Trip Advisor recommendations but were misled. We opened the front door to enter and were blown away with the noise but saw a hallway leading to a quieter room. The noise was still loud but from a distance. The beer list was extensive, the waitress nice, the rear... More

Over priced. Ordered the Reuben, which was great, but received this tiny little cup with 3 bites of potato salad, which was hard. My sister ordered the crab and avocado salad. The dressing was so bland she had to add tones of salt just to taste the salad. On the other hand, if you're a drinker this would be the... More

We were recommended to go here. First impressions were not great. Atmosphere was a but Large-Room boomy and echoy. Excellent Bar Manager and the lounge waiting staff were chatty and good fun. Just couldn't bring ourselves to stay here for a meal. Knew we would find better.

the staff was nice, and friendly, but I was so disappointed with the Cobb salad. I seriously felt like the $12 salad was a lot of romaine lettuce, 5-6 grape tomatoes, a slice of deli cheddar slice cut up, a small piece of chicken breast cut up, and a piece of bacon cut up. My husband did enjoy the beer,... More

First of all - there are two locations. One is more of a pub. We went to the restaurant across the street from Columbia's. Everything was fantastic except the baked potato - which was a little undercooked. My husband said his was fine and loved his meal. We will visit again.

This place is great if you like different beer! Stopped in to have a drink while on vacation. Caution - VERY LOUD. Bartender made a recommendation and I enjoyed it. We were going to stay and order something from the menu, but wasn't really into their appetizers. The bar area was super load, the other side with tables and chairs... More

Just around the corner from the typical tourist traps where pasta is $20+ and everything else is more, is an authentic corner pub that oozes charm, features a hundred different beers and has pub grub that would put some of the higher falutin' places to shame. I had a really good local IPA - $4 a pint at happy hour... More
