I was craving a pizza and we found this place on Urban Spoon. My mussels in white wine were scrumptious and I kept the sauce to dip my pizza crust in - oh my! Service was great and our food arrive within minutes, the chef (I assume) came out to see if we liked the food and the place stayed... More

We went there because of the reviews and location. We ordered a Marguerita pizza. The menu said fresh crushed tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil for $15.00 for a large. Well the pizza might just as well been a plain pizza. Not FRESH crushed tomatoes. I'm sure they came from a can even tho the waitress said it was fresh sauce. The... More

We had a Mediterranean pizza with added prosciutto and it was very good but could have been more generous with the amount of topping and a bit lower in price. The crust was of very good taste, medium thickness and springy in texture. We ate in, but it is more of a take out place with many standard Italian dishes... More

My server Robin was the best part of the whole experience. Original owners are horrible. Food was okay but would rather go to napolis.to eat. Prices are absolutely outragious. The person below calling Robin a dingbat is a complete idiot. I recently went during the day and met the new old hag Jody that I have seen numerous times at... More

The original Romano's is now located at 4010 US 1 South, St. Augustine, FL. My wife and I found this Romano's last year and thought it was great. This Romano's is in three sections, a pizzeria, restaurant and bar. The service is excellent, the prices are reasonable. good sized portions and great food. We went back this evening and it... More

It's close to the beach and tennis club, ample parking, friendly staff and very good pizza. Also great antipasa. They have traditional Italian dishes, but we haven't done anything other than the above. It looks good, and we'll try it next time.

I'm from New York, lived in Orlando, and would say this pizza would be in the top three that I tasted in Florida. And would be in the top ten in New York, Brooklyn and Long Island. When some "Gourmet" compares this to Dominos, you know this guy should stay home and eat his Red Baron with a warm Mountain... More
