Description: Casa Benedetto's is a small family owned caffe featuring authentic Sicilian homestyle cooking. We come from a long line of talented cooks who believe that the best food comes from using the freshest best ingredients available prepared with love and attention to detail. We pride ourselves in keeping alive the traditional "holiday foods" we grew up with that not many care to take the time & trouble to prepare from scratch in our busy modern world. Casa Benedetto's is open for lunch and dinner Monday thru Saturday We always have Sinatra singing in the background, fresh linens on the tables& candlelight in the evenings. Our staff is trained to make your visit a pleasant one and we strive to meet all special dietary needs or favorite dishes that may be missing from our menu that you desire. We are currently encouraging guests to use cash or debit for payment in an effort to keep our prices competitive. We are closed on Sundays but do open for Easter Sunday and Mother's Day Sunday.

I had dinner here with a friend and I really enjoyed the food and the place. My friend lives close by and is a regular here, which I guess made the owner feel he could make us wait for a table longer then necessary. He had 4 top tables available but didnt want to give one to us because there... More

We recently stopped in for an early dinner based on the #3 TA rating. While the food was pretty good, the prices were pretty steep for the pasta dishes. The location was off the beaten path in a tiny uninspired building far away from the busy district so the overhead can't be that much to warrant the prices. The owners... More

We have been dining in St. Augustine every night for the last 2 weeks. Please, everyone, take the extra 10 minutes to drive south of the "Old City", over the Bridge Of Lions on A1A South! As you enter into this classic Italian family restaurant, you are greeted by the owners, Robyn & Jay, seated immediately and taken into a... More

My husband and I went for our 27th wedding anniversary. The service is wonderful and the staff is very pleasant and attentive. I had the Veal Parmesan which was the best I have ever had. My husband had the curly spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, which was also excellent. The chocolate cake for dessert, which had cream cheese layered in... More

Plentiful portions of excellently prepared food. Everyone was very happy with their meal - lots of sharing and appreciation going on. Wine choices adequate and service was attentive. The cooks accommodated gluten free requests happily. What a great meal and a decent price!

We chose this restaurant because it had such fabulous reviews, but for the first time ever...you contributors led us wrong! The mussels were great, but it went down hill from there. The restaurant is a tiny A framed building with only around 7 or 8 tables inside. They are so close it made us self conscious. It was decorated like... More

We are shocked to receive this negative, inaccurate review. We have never charged anyone for bread and we serve it with whipped herb butter and a complimentary serving of our homemade caponata. AS you mentioned we do charge for additional sides of caponata, but additional bread and butter are always complimentary. We offer free refills on our home brewed iced... More

We have visited St. Augustine many times and we are always looking for new places to dine. This night, we had a craving for Italian food, looked online and found Casa Benedettos's Italian Caffe, which was not far from out beach side hotel. The place looked charming in the pictures, we called to see if we could get in for... More

My sweetheart and I had a wonderful intimate dinner for two in this cozy and romantic little spot not far from the pristine beaches of St Augustine. The food tasted homemade and authentically Italian, loved the fresh seafood on a bed on soft angel hair pasta, and the chicken marsala was delicious from first bite to last. We ordered extra... More

Loving dining experience. Real linen, fresh food, large selection, personal attention, Italian family portions - The butter and relish great start, house salad featured beautiful fresh tomatoes with a light house dressing, a must order was the "escarole & beans" a sautéed delight, my main course of pasta primavera was fresh and could feed an army! Not enough room to... More
