I visit The Back 40 every time I come to town! The food is fantastic and there's always something there for everyone in the family, including the picky eaters. The avocado tacos are out of this world and don't even get me started on the cheesecake. The service is great and our waitress Angela was very attentive. The perfect place... More

I've lived in St. Augustine for a long time, and this is one of the best places my wife and I visit for a great meal. If you're really hungry, get the Wet Burrito with Jerk Chicken. It's cheap, and big enough to feed two adult men. Pro tip: Go between 3-6pm for taco happy hour. They have humongous, fresh... More

We asked one of our tour guides where to eat that was really good and inexpensive. We plugged in the name of the restaurant and it was easy to find. Great little blue house with orange trees in the yard. Lots of personality right off the bat!! Then the most wonderful smell came wafting to us as we got out... More

This past August, on a trip to Florida, we stopped at this restaurant based upon previous reviews on Trip Advisor. It helped to have a GPS to find this gem and we had a wonderful lunch and ate just wonderful food. And, as a previous reviewer has said, the cheesecake was unique - wish I could remember the flavor -... More

While visiting St. Augustine, we saw this place on a foodie website so decided to have dinner there. My husband and I like to eat at locally owned, non-chain restaurants when possible. Upon entering, delicious smells wafted from the kitchen. The restaurant, most likely a small house at one time, was filled with families with young children chattering away, a... More

We had the pumpkin cheesecake and keylime pie. My friend said it was life changing cheesecake. There is a different flavor of cheesecake everyday. You can get wine by the glass. Great relaxed atmosphere.

This restaurant is located in a residential area where you would not expect to find one. However, it is worth the effort to find it. The menu offers a variety of unique foods. I ordered a burrito, expecting I would be familiar with the flavors and seasonings, but it totally surprised me! The seasoning was unique (thyme based we were... More

Located in a residential area In a house that's converted to cafe, multiple rooms and seating choices, very casual, lots of locals eat here. Food is fresh , tasty and huge portions, and the pricing is budget. The veg chili and chips ,awesome shared with group of 5, the chicken curry wrap yummy, crunchy with fresh ingredients , the cole... We stopped at this gem off the beaten path on route to Miami. It was worth the short drive off the interstate. The service was very friendly. The food was superb-fresh fish tacos and the 40 burger were both delicious. The ice tea was refreshing and they had lots of local beers too. It's located in an old house in... More
