Delicious!

We visited Casa Maya per a recommendation from our inn-keeper and it's our new favorite restaurant. We sat on the upper balcony and enjoyed the view. We would highly recommend the margaritas! Not sure why there are any negative reviews of this place. Nice outdoor seating, large beverage menu. Delicious guacamole- super fresh! We had tacos and quesadillas and they were delicious. Price just right for lunch!

The fish tacos were awesome. Great service, cold beer, what more can you ask for? Prices were moderate.

Horrible food and terrible service. Frozen food, server went on a smoke break while we waited for our cold non sizzling beef fajitas to arrive. Last minute he apologized for running out of rice, waited an hour and half. This place is just a name, quality and service very poor.

Dirty table , slow service , pre made food and too expensive for what you get. My family and I were expecting much more from this overrated restaurant. It took an hour to be served. Missing our beers and margarita from the pre mix bottle. The guacamole with chipsps ( all broken) was not fresh. No taste at all .... More

At 7.00pm we seated and we have been asked for drinks at 7.16pm. We ordered our food at 7.30pm and at 7.56pm we received our apetizers. The food has been delivered at 8.10pm. The table was dirty and wet when we seated and we had to clear it ourselves. No glass of water and our cold tea was terrible. The... More

"Healthy Mexican" food is usually an oxymoron. Mexican food in the US has become synonymous with refried beans, swimming in a puddle of cheese melted in the microwave. Put the restaurant in a tourist haunt like St. A., and the conclusion seems forgone. But this was a pleasant surprise. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and flavorful. The service was great,... Arrived at 6pm on a Wednesday. Drinks took 25 minutes, chips and salsa took 40 minutes. Dinner arrived in 80 minutes. Waiter was inattentive and untrained. Mahimahi was too tough to eat. Would never eat here again. Don't be misled by great reviews.

The food here was excellent. It was recommended by a local and she was not wrong. The food appeared to be fairly healthy and was delicious! The portion sizes were not large and the tacos (three of them) did not come with a side. The service as excellent. They served water infused with lemon, lime and oranges. It was a... More

Casa Maya offers both excellent food and service. Unlike many Mexican restaurants that most Americans are used to, Casa Maya's chefs prepare everything from scratch in house, so all of the food is wonderfully flavorful and high-quality. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we came back twice on our three-night stay in St. Augustine. The chefs were... More
