Had a wonderful lunch today at Casa Maya. For starters we had the special of the day - octopus ceviche. Out of this world. Fresh, well seasoned and well presented. I find many restaurants around over-salting their food but this was just nice and very enjoyable. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and my mom the huinic sandwich. My burrito was... More

Excellent restaurant, a bit pricey but well worth it. Not the kind of food you find in a regular Mexican restaurant. Unique and delicious food. Great servers too. Don't miss it!

The food is authentic and flavorful. Small potions for price, though. Unusual that our iced tea was served in small plastic cups when the bar obviously had large glasses, including Mason jar mugs. This led to frequent refills and cheapened the experience for such a price. Guess they reserve glass for alcoholic beverages, including their famous sangria.

September 5th and 7th, 2014 We were headed to the restaurant across the street and they were full and it was near closing time, so we crossed the street and so glad we did! We sat in the courtyard and it was perfect! We started off with shrimp Ceviche, probably the best I've ever had and guacamole dip. Since it... More

We had shrimp Ceviche, probably the best I've ever had, black bean soup to fit for and a tempeh entree that was very good. The wire wine sangria and service were also very good. Well be back!

My wife, Joan, and I were vacationing in St. Augustine last week. We ate at several restaurants while we were there. One of our last meals there was at Casa Maya. The food was excellent and our waiter " Victor" was outstanding. He helped us select the wine to go with our dinner and it was perfect. He was very... More

We found this place in our of the St. Augustine tourist guides that are all over the place. Buy am I glad we did! Totally worth the trip down the side street off of St. George for authentic, delicious, well-priced food. We were sat upstairs immediately and were served promptly and efficiently. The food was plentiful and delicious. Each of... More

This place is beautiful beginning to end. Upon arrival, we could see the large courtyard but because of impending rain we sat indoors. The environment is more elegant than a "traditional Mexican" place. There are lovely photos honoring the Mayan of today that grace the walls. Service was on point as well, from the friendly greeting to the final bill... More
