Just like her mother made!

My wife and I came here for lunch since she wanted a taste of Polish food like her mother used to make. She wasn't disappointed and we both enjoyed the Greek salad and Pirogues with sour cream. It's located around the corner from their other shop but right in the heart of St Augustine.

I've been to this restaurant several times, and I've been pleased with the food and wine selection. If you love Polish food (EX: pierogi, stuffed cabbage, pyzy), you need to make the trip here. Also, if you are interested in learning about unique wines, you can try wines from Greece, Romania, and Serbia. The food is so good that my... More

If I were to go back, I would drown myself in a few bowls of Chlodnik soup and skip the rest. It was a beet soup with added ingredients like kefir and yogurt. We also had the pierogies and the stuffed cabbage. This was not your ordinary cabbage roll, but a meat stuffing the size of a small meatloaf, wrapped... More

What a gem! If you're in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and pass up all the other so-so restaurants and go straight to Gaufre's!!! Such nice friendly people, such good service, and AMAZING food!!! Some of the best authentic Polish food you will ever eat!

My partner and I ate a dinner dessert after sampling less satisfactory fare elsewhere and liked the experience so much we came back for lunch the next days. We can enthusiastically recommend the Polish wedding cookies and the baclava. Sto let! and whatever the Greeks say to let you know your heartily approve. My vegetarian partner loved the salad. We... Stopped here for a late lunch on a day trip to St. Augustine. Quiet restaurant owned by what appeared to be a lovely polish family who spent several years living in Greece. Do yourself a favor and skip the faux-conquistador tourist traps and eat at this lovely restaurant. We have travelled and dined the world over (including several times in... More

Came across this by accident when walking up a street that we hadn't intended taking. The small Polish and Greek menu was very interesting. The stuffed cabbage / golabki that I chose for lunch was excellent. My companion was more than happy with her spinach and fetta pie with a delicious pastry.

Walking at Art Walk toward a restaurant we frequent and came across this special place, quaint with excellent Polish and Greek food. It was on Aviles so this was a very pleasant surprise

We have been coming to Gaufres & Goods off and on over the past 8 years, but it had been a while since our last visit - probably 2 years. Since last year they have added another section to the restaurant where they serve their main courses. I know the owners have a connection to Greece (as well as Poland)... More

Our group of two couples came upon this fine restaurant while wandering slightly off the beaten path in old St. Augustine. We were intrigued by the unusual combination of serving traditional Polish and Cuban foods. We were to find out that the couple that own the restaurant met in Europe and one is from Cuba and the other is Polish.... More
