We like to stop here when we're shopping in the old town. The panini's are really good, as is the coffee and espresso. The service is sometimes a little lacking, not bad, but, indifferent is the best description I can come up with. But, we still come back as the food is good, the decor is quaint, prices aren't too... The staff is very friendly and the coffee is outstanding! We had a large 3 scoop gelato which was delicious but smaller than expected for the price. Would go back again for the taste!!

My boyfriend and I were on vacation after a fabulous meal we decided to go into Cafe Del Hidalgo. We were told free samples and then yelled at for not paying at the counter before getting samples. When we gave the receipt to the person at the counter he proceeded to tell us he was too busy at the moment.... More

This is our third year to visit St Augustine! Love this place. We get the Gelato. If you have not tried Gelato before, it is like ice cream, but very rich And light! Give it a go!

Busy busy corner cafe on St George st. Very good sandwiches and Gelato to die for! Tons of flavors and they are very generous with their samples to tempt your palates. Also offer nice selection of coffee and teas. A nice little spot to stop for a refreshing treat. Plenty of seating.

It was our first time here, but WON'T be the last. The barista offered great drink suggestions and we were thoroughly impressed.

The gelato looked as good as it tastes. The cafe also has a wide range of coffees, teas and drinks. It was a perfect place to stop on a hot humid day to get refreshed.

During a hot summer day walking the streets of St. Augustine's Historic District, we stopped in for a quick late afternoon gelato. Pay first, then bring your receipt to the gelato guys to fill your order. Of course we loved it. Also enjoyed the decor of the room, especially their old-style chairs with leather strap backings.

My husband and I go every time we visit. We love their gelato shakes and hot chocolates. This lunch items are also nice. It gets very busy but I the staff works very hard to fulfill the orders. The blond haired one is so nice and hard working. We will see you guys again on our December trip!
