Loved the gelato. Got vanilla and chocolate. The coffee was a lil strong and pricey but perfect temperature just drink right when she handed it to us.

The paninis are to die for! With chips and a dill pickle spear on the side, it was almost too much to consume at one time. My granddaughter's salad was also very generous. We followed our meal with some true Italian gelato! yum!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will make it a "must" stop there again the next time... More

We had lunch at this cafe because it is one of our must visits while we are in St. Augustine. The sandwiches and salads are wonderful, but the best thing about this cafe is the gelato. My husband and I shared a Rock panini which was very good. The surprise was I jokingly told the gentleman taking the order we... More

We decided to try the panni and gelato due to the reviews. The service and atmosphere was great. However the gelato and panni was not above average. I'm still searching for the authentic gelato I had in Italy.

Stopped by the Cafe after our morning bike ride. We did not have any money with us but it did not stop us from getting a sample or two from the server. We stopped back in the evening after our dinner for a special dessert. The gelato had many flavors to choose from but the amaretto seemed to be thee... More

This is a quaint and cute small eatery. Stopped in to get a bite to eat for lunch and I had ordered the Turkey Cobb Salad which was really good, and wouldn't mind ordering it again. I also got some gelato afterwards and it was really goo. I would highly recomend this place.

We like to stop here when we're shopping in the old town. The panini's are really good, as is the coffee and espresso. The service is sometimes a little lacking, not bad, but, indifferent is the best description I can come up with. But, we still come back as the food is good, the decor is quaint, prices aren't too... The staff is very friendly and the coffee is outstanding! We had a large 3 scoop gelato which was delicious but smaller than expected for the price. Would go back again for the taste!!

My boyfriend and I were on vacation after a fabulous meal we decided to go into Cafe Del Hidalgo. We were told free samples and then yelled at for not paying at the counter before getting samples. When we gave the receipt to the person at the counter he proceeded to tell us he was too busy at the moment.... More

This is our third year to visit St Augustine! Love this place. We get the Gelato. If you have not tried Gelato before, it is like ice cream, but very rich And light! Give it a go!
