Looking for a place open Christmas Eve is a challenge. Village Inn was and had many cars in the lot, which we took as a good sign. Locals were the primary clientele and crowded, but musty smelling inside nearly drove me back out. It was raining, so I stayed and glad I did. Very good food, great servers and tremendous... More

Located near the historic downtown area is this excellent family style restaurant. Stopped in for Sunday breakfast and it was great. My Wife had pancakes which were very think and good. My eggs benedict were the best I've had in a long time. Famous for their pies we had two for Thanksgiving so we ordered three for Christmas!

When in St. Augustine I always go here for breakfast. The food is always prepare well and the staff is very good. I you like pie you can't go wrong getting it here. We always get one or two whole pies to take home. We love the strawberry and rhubarb pie, but all the pies are excellent.

It has been awhile since we have been to Village Inn. We found just recently that this is one of several places you can get breakfast later in the day. We like to relax and sleep in while we are on these getaways so finding a place to have some breakfast is great. Since its been along time between visits... More

I'm not much of a breakfast person but my husband is so we rolled into Village Inn and we were not disappointed. He got the breakfast skillet and I got the build your breakfast deal. Both were really good but the highlight of the meal was the orange crepes!! They were so yummy!!!! The price was right for the portions.... More

Over the decades we used to eat breakfast here several times a year. Not much has changed in 25 years. The best thing Village Inn has going for it is its freshly baked pies, which come in more than dozen varieties. We'd often bring home a whole Chocolate Silk pie, my personal favorite. We stopped patronizing Village Inn ten years... More

The waitresses are the best. Very friendly and thoughtful. The pies are delicious! We only recommend the pie and coffee because that is all we had.

The prices are a little high, even for a tourist town. It's family friendly and the staff was very nice, but the food was priced very high for what you got. I'd rather eat at a Denny's or Perkins, and I'm not crazy about either of those. On the good side it is open late.
