Wonderful Food and a Wonderful Staff

We were walking downtown and just happened on this place. I know we've passed it many times, but we finally went in. The food was divine. We had some wine, a filet special, and dessert, and the entire time, we kept revealing about the taste of each bite of food. The staff was exceptionally... read more

I visited St. Augustine a few days ago for a nice stroll and was deeply saddened by the closure of what was by far my most favorite restaurant in downtown for years. I learned from the Greek restaurant next door that the business was sold two weeks ago and that remaining staff are looking forward to a new restaurant to... More

Have been there many times previously, looking forward to a 2015 visit, but the windows were completely taped over and the neighboring restaurant said they folded a week or two before our visit.

This review is business etiquette related, which I hold larger than the food itself. Long story short, I had a family vacation planned in Orlando for a week, and decided to take a day trip up to St Augustine this past Saturday. The sole purpose for this visit was to take my girlfriend to have dinner at Bistro De Leon... More

When we got here is was not too busy. French breakfast menu. The $12 omelet was really enjoyed by my guest. They have very good coffee. My Quiche Lorraine was ok but barely warm... Not much taste either.

We stopped for lunch in St. Augustine on our way to West Palm Beach, and a very chic young lady suggested we try Bistro de Leon, and so we did. We had a table in the window and an excellent french lunch, with soup and salad and foie gras. The food and drink were great but the ambiance left something... More

It's a small place in a storefront in the old city across from the Old City Market. But the food is fantastic. If you enjoy French cuisine, then Bistro de Leon is for you. Marvelous.

Four of us went in for the $30 fixed price 3 course meal ($25 if you go early) and all were very satisfied. The appetizer and main course (seafood) were ample and very tasty. The dessert crêpe left a little to be desired but we felt the meal was a good value. The atmosphere was convivial and we would certainly... More

Well located and authentic French bistro. After exploring the historic streets of St. Augustine, this spot is a quiet and cool place for lunch or dinner. Always good

We stopped here for a late breakfast after walking to the lighthouse and back from downtown. The temperature inside was a little warm at first but they quickly adjusted the air conditioning. The tables are positioned close to each other. This is perfect for my husband because he loves to make new friends. It was easy to strike up a... More
