This restaurant looked like it was going to be a great find by our hotel. But, after being seated we did not see our waitress for over 10 minutes, and after ordering drinks did not come back for at least another 10 minutes. Our appetizer came out cold, and the food was just so so. The bar area seemed to... More

Johnny Longboats was a fun stop for dinner. The wait was not long (20 minutes) and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Our meals included the Jambalaya, Catfish, Dolphin Reuben, and Grouper Sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the value was appropriate. Our waitress, Kim, was fun and very good at what she does. We would return here.

We ate here daily for 4 days either for breakfast or an early dinner. It's very casual and has a fun atmosphere. The pancakes, French toast and grouper sandwich are all delicious. The only negative comment is that service is often slow and they never got our order right the first time. Very nice servers, possibly not enough on staff.

Food was good atmosphere was great. Took waiter about ten minutes to get our drink orders but no problems after that. The crab soup was great and I usually only like 2 out of every ten grab soups I eat. I really enjoyed this place ans plan ro go back during my visit.

My husband and I ate breakfast here twice, as it was close to where we were staying. Very good corned beef hash, good hash browns, and great mimosas! Fun atmosphere. However beware, breakfast takes a while. The first day we waited 30 minutes after ordering to get our food, the second time 45 minutes, which is a bit long to... More

If you think that Steak Fajitas consist of tougher steak than I can get in the poorest parts of Central America and that rice and beans should consist of baked beans poured over rice, then you'll love Johnny Longboats (the 'Two Drunken Goats' branch on Singer Island. Overpriced, catering to drunk tourists. The only good thing was the server, Jennifer.... More

Good eggs, sausage and plenty of coffee although a bit strong The grits were perfect and a very local flavor Large enough so you don't have to get on a waiting list and quick service so you are not there until dinner waiting for your check .We will go back

He was right...Wow..4-egg-omletts and crunchy hash browns. The waffle was light and tasty. Two nights later we went back for dinner. Grouper in a bag, jambalya an mussels. All was very good.
