great food

The Whip, has the best food I've ever tasted. The Whip is perfit, I would not change a thing about it.

Went with a friend for lunch and had a grouper sandwich. Grouper filet was huge and extended beyond both sides of the bun. Don't know where they get their buns but they are very good! Potato salad accompanied the sandwich and is quite good. Had a side salad with their home made dressing. Shared a dessert of a brownie topped... More

Saturday night, 6:30, was not crowded, food was very good, service was too. Husband had the pork chop and I had the grouper bruschetta. We will return - will try for the low country broil on Friday's in cooler weather for sure.

While staying in Quincy, Fl, we were given the recommendation to this restaurant by our front desk manager at our hotel. Although the navigation does not recognize the address, this restaurant is located at the end of the road directly on the water. We tried to get an outdoor table but had the unfortunate luck to arrive the same time... More

Wow. What a great little restaurant on the lake. Great food. Great service. Perfect atmosphere. I am doing some business in Gadsden County and saw some signs in the windows of several companies that say DO SOMETHING ORIGINAL in Gadsden County. So I asked a local to tell me "an original" place to eat. They sent me to The Whip... More

If you eat a chain when you travel because you like to stay in your comfort level, this may not be the place for you. We were greeted in the parking lot by 2 wet dogs and 2 local gentlemen who helped direct us into the restaurant area. The market, bait shop, marina setting doesn't adequately display entry. Entering the... More

We had heard so much about The Whip and drove over from Tallahassee on a Friday afternoon , arriving at 4:00 in order to avoid the FRiday night crowds that would be there later. The Whip advertises "seafood" but we could not find a menu on the website - when we arrived, there were only three items (grouper, wahoo and... More

No way is this place worth the 25 min drive from route 10 . Drove in from Md. and noticed this place had some good reviews so took a chance . Win some and you lose some i guess ! We arrived about 6pm to what was essentially a bait shop that was turned into a make shift restaurant... I'm... More

If you are in this area do not bypass eating at The Whip. It is a delicious and fun experience. We were staying at the Hampton Inn in Quincy and the front desk recommended it. We had read about it under some reviews on the Hampton Inn. The food was great. Our waitress Daniele was friendly and provided great service.... More

This is a restaurant one never finds without the good reviews. Good food (a great piece of meat) and a fabulous location. Take the porch and enjoy sunset and the turtles begging for some left overs with their heads up out of the water. Service is great, never mind what the others say. Coming from Europe I find the speed... More
