Awesome View, Fair Food, Busy Staff

We ate here on a Saturday, which might explain why the staff was so busy. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for a waterfront table, still the staff seemed very busy. We asked for blackened grouper sandwich, which wasn't on the menu. I'm guessing we should have order the fried grouper... read more

Located at the end of Fishermans Wharf, above Harpoon Harry's (elevator available if needed). Amazing views from the outside deck and plenty of big windows to see the beauty if you prefer the inside. The lunch menu has a great mix of sandwiches, salads and seafood. Our family of four loved the chicken sandwich and club wraps.

We went to the Captains Table without reservations. After a significant wait for the hostess we were promptly seated on the outdoor deck which was our preference because of the beautiful weather and sunset. Our waiter Richard took our order correctly. I had the Captains Platter blackened. It was Wasabi mashed potatos topped with grouper, 2 scallops and 2 shrimp.... More

My husband I and took my 91 year old mother on a drive to Punta Gorda from Fort Myers. We enjoyed wandering through Fisherman's Village. We wanted to eat lunch outside, so we chose The Captain's Table. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. My mother enjoyed the harbor view, the boats coming and going and the dolphins... More

This is a nice Restaurant located upstairs at the end of Fisherman Village in Punta Gorda, FL. It is a nice restaurant with good food and great views. I had the Maryland crab cake sandwich. It looked nice, but could have been any kind of fish in patty form as there was almost no taste except for the cajun aoli sauce. And it was supposed to be on brioche which brings to mind artisan breadmaking---looked like a hamburger bun to me. I got wild rice instead of french... More

Having had a larger party here in October 2014, we were welcomed back like royalty. The GM made several stops to our table which was a party of 10, and the Chef also came over to greet us. Our guests ordered a wide variety of entrees from seafood to steak to duck and everyone was very happy with their meals.... More

On a not particularly crowded evening, our meal came dreadfully slow. The har our view is fantastic, salad bar pretty good, lobster ravioli excellent but the shellfish with pasta was drenched in marinara "soup", a disappointment. But the ambience is very nice. Try it but don't expect a great meal or exquisite service.

My wife and I had a late lunch here while we were at Fisherman's Village. We weren't able to get a table outside that wasn't in the direct sun, but we did get a nice table overlooking the harbor and the marina. My wife had the Jambalaya and I had the crab cake sandwich. Both were excellent. The prices were... More

Ask for an outside table. The restaurant is on the second floor, with beautiful water views. Good date night restaurant.
