We had heard about Cubby's ice cream and sandwiches a long time ago from friends who live in Punta Gorda. Our ice cream cones were huge and delicious. It's worth the stop and every calorie of yummy.

Whether eating out or at home, we make a plan every night while in Punta Gorda to get to Cubby's by 9pm for ice cream. It's the best!

Great flavors, comfortable atmosphere, cute kids serving the stuff with a smile and patience for those who want a taste before buying. A bit more $$ than DQ but nice quality and they do accept credit cards.

Have gone to Cubby's a few times this trip down as well as a few years ago. Our friends here LOVE this place but I find it only OK. Not that many flavors available and the ones that they have aren't that tasty. Nice people and good service, however.
