Our return visit to Peace River Seafood just outside of Punta Gorda on US 17 just 2 miles east of I-75. Most people would drive by this "whole in the wall looking establishment" and likely not give it a chance.....their loss. Great fresh seafood including fresh local Blue Claw Crabs (all you can eat offering available) and nicely prepared local... More

We dropped in for a drink just to check out the place for a future visit....ended up having a mid afternoon snack,I enjoyed a dozen steamed clams, fresh and perfectly prepared along with drawn butter and corn on the cob.My wife had a very good clam chowder. There is inside and outside dining and we picked a covered area on the pet-friendly... One of the best restaurants in the Punta Gorda area. It is located a few miles east of Punta Gorda, but worth the drive. Known for its all you can eat crabs ($30), it has a variety of other seafood dishes. Recently we visited for lunch, We had two excellent seafood sandwiches, as well as a great burger (they are... Hello Mike, we appreciate your business and all your kind words. I often get mixed reviews about the Styrofoam plates, but believe it or not, some people love that about us. Next time you are dining in just tell the server, Mike from trip advisor is here, and i will make sure you get real plates and silverware, we are... More

I have driven by this restaurant many times & always said, "I'm going to go there someday". Well, that day came. We went this evening & had a fantastic time. Wonderful atmosphere, we ate out on the front porch by the talkative bird. Great service & the best food I have had in a restaurant in a long time. I... More

Very expensive, food was fresh but not much on the plate. The service was mediocre at best and the entire place was not very sanitary. If you like fresh seafood at a high price in the open air and bugs then this is the place to visit.

My wife doesn't eat seafood, but we were pleasantly surprised when she got what had to be one of the best cheeseburgers anywhere. It was obviously hand patted, large, fresh and on a wonderful fresh bun. The bun was amazing, I didn't ask, but it must have been locally if not home made. Same with the delicious tomato slices, onions... More

Over priced, especially for yesterday's crabs. Maybe it's because we went early in the day but only about half of the crabs were fresh cooked mixed with yesterday's rewarmed. Almost 50 dollars a dozen for large and most were mediums at best. Next time we'll go to a local seafood market and cook them, considering they're 15 dollars a dozen... More

A diamond in the rough so to speak. Great atmosphere with live music on the deck. The food had some amazing flavors and the portions were awesome. We didnt make it for the blue crab which was dissapointing but it seemed to be the popular choice for all the customers. The staff all around were fantastic and truley cared about... More

Read about this place before we came to Florida, lived up to its name! Only thing was the website must have been out of date because the all you can eat crabs were a little more then it said on the site. It was an experience we all will remember, the live music and the service were great! My son... More
