My wife had blackened catfish, Dollar bills adorn the walls of the restaurant, and be sure to ask the waitress the story. In any event, you... More

We were a party of eleven for lunch on Wednesday Feb 3. The wait was about thirty minutes which was not bad for this time of the year. Our party sampled most of the menu and all were impressed with their selections. All commented on how fresh their seafood was. The one thing that all of us were shocked about... More

We ate here twice and enjoyed the blue crabs, garlic crab clusters, oysters and shrimp. Even the soup was tasty. Rustic, eat with your hands at a picnic table spread with newspaper. It was a bit of work but a good experience to have if you like seafood.

Peace River Seafood and Crab Shack is exactly what we have experienced and expect of a "crab shack" after 40 years of enjoyong them in Maryland, Virginia, and the Florida Gulf Coast! We have been here twice in a week and will get back somehow once more before we must return to Canada, a fresh crab and shrimp desert---or more... More

Open air shack atmoshere. They can close the doors but it's a great feel when it's all open. My fried pound of shrimp were 15 jumbo sized tail on, tasty, tasty treats. They put little to no batter on and they stayed tender! The she crab soup was just the correct creamy thickness and had a tad of bite to... More

Quaint atmosphere. Order in, take out or buy fresh catch. All good. Pricey but would still go back. Hours are a bit odd.

We went there last year at least 3 times with freinds and the service and food was very good. Go back again this year with freinds that I have told that it was the best fish and ship with Grouper so we went. Very desapointing, they were out of Grouper so we had the Triple tail fish andwhen I got... More

I had heard about this place-that it was good-so we went there over the weekend. I assumed that this was a regular restaurant type place that specialized in seafood, but I was wrong. This is a small mom and pop restaurant that is rustic. The waitress said that the owner catches his own blue crab in the harbor and that... More

#1 crabs, blue crabs, fixed in a Chesapeake manor. Just a wonderful experience with super service, great menu and very fresh seafood. You can't go wrong for local fresh seafood. And yes it's cooked right.

Located in an old Florida house, Peace River Seafood served up delicious food. We sat on the front porch with the parrot and although it was close to the road the traffic didn't bother our dining experience one bit. We started with the seafood chowder. It was absolutely the best we have ever eaten. Then there were the crab cakes... More
