Very disappointed in the whole experience. Ordered a Mich Ultra and was charged for "Import" Beer at 3.75 each. The soft drinks are served in a flimsy paper cup & flat ,paper plates and the cheap cheap plastic silverware leaves alot to be desired when you are spending $16+ for your meal. You get better tableware at most takeout chinese... More

Crabcakes that are almost pure crabmeat, shrimp cooked perfectly, sides of corn and potatoes, cold, very cold, beer, great service. What more can I say? As snowbirds we can't wait to return to Fla to go to Peace River. Yes it is "quaint", outdoors, old Florida, but just outstanding. One nite server mentioned they had "gator gumbo." Out of this... I grew up in Punta Gorda, and on a recent visit to see my parents they brought us here. It is a piece of old Florida. The menu is limited, but everything on the menu is delicious. It is pricey, but it's fresh and local. The restaurant is small and can feel crowded inside, so we recommend sitting outside on... More

Old Florida just outside of town. I have had so many people recommend this place. I finally decided to check it out. I was happy I did. Not an extensive menu but a good one. I had the dozen steamed crabs. MMMMMMM and beer. What better combo.

Don't waste your time or money. Fighting flies while attempting to peel over cooked shrimp, 1/2 of the clams weren't open, spit out beer because almost swallowed fly swimming in it, outdoors smelled,...I can say no more!

Very casual with paper plates, cups, and bowls and some plastic flatware. Most tables are picnic tables, and most dining is outside. There is some inside dining to provide air conditioning which I prefer. The entire staff was fun, friendly and pleasant. Nothing pretentious here. They are all about the food. Very fresh fish. A table of five all had... More

Used to just love coming here ... the food was delicious, prices were very reasonable and the service was very good. We also love casual places and the cracker style house with paper towels and picnic tables outside was a fun place to have a meal and bring visitors for a taste of "old Florida." So while the atmosphere is... More

We try to get there at least twice every year and have never been disappointed. This last time we had the best waitress, very attentive and a cheerful disposition. Would have made a McDonalds a four star restaurant. We had four different entries, all were excellent. The key lime pie was good, would not turn it down. The she crab... More

First visit had excellent steamed oysters and stone crab. Pricey choices but very good. Service great beer cold all as expected. 2nd visit we got jambalaya and a salad with grilled salmon Food was good Service wasn't all I remembered and price was a bit steep for jambalaya. Realizing there is shrimp in there as the most expensive component... It... More
