Great atmosphere, great food, great value

Visited Dean's as the (overrated) Crab House was busy at lunchtime. What a great surprise. Inexpensive beers, incredible plateful of really well filled and tasty tacos, rice and beans. This has to be the best value in Punta Gorda. Good atmosphere too, very relaxing. What a find!

This place is usually packed and for good reason. The food is so yummy, the beer is cold, the servers & bands are always great! I always go for the nachos supreme. AMAZING!

We had an early evening supper and drinks. $4 Margaritas while we were there. The food was tasty and portions were large enough for what we paid. They serve anything from Mexican to American cuisine. I think the most expensive of our 3 meals was $13 for 3 steak fajitas. I had the boom-boom shrimp tacos which were also good... More

I live in the area so I know what there is to offer. It is always hard to try someplace new when you are super hungry but have been wanting to try this place out for ages. So glad we did!!! The drinks are delicious and just right. I had a special, lobster chimi which was about the size of... More

Fun place to go- really good Mexican dishes. Somewhat of a challenge to get "close" parking spot. Not too bad to park across the street (US 41-N). Really good bands there. We ate there after golf tournament.

We had back to back breakfasts here. I highly recommend it to all. Great spicy Bloody Marys. The omelets were really tasty and the prices were fair.

Dean's has a great menu with lots of variety and different dining venues. You can eat outside at the bar or barside table or inside where it is a little quieter. Live music many evenings. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! If you go for breakfast though, avoid Sunday mornings because the kitchen is really slow and the wait... More
