Laishley Crab House has fallen into the big conglomerate world of restaurants and needs to get back to its roots in the community. Went there for Father's Day dinner, seated quickly. Nice décor, clean tables and bathroom, friendly staff. Special's board had listed blue crab bucket. I asked to order special and was told they didn't have any blue crabs.... More

All about the location near downtown punta gorda. Short walk to the civic center and Laishley park. Food and service are good.

This was my first visit to Laishley Crab House. I loved sitting by the water. With 5 different dishes everyone was pleased with their food and service was also good. For me the best part of the lunch was just being by the water with the bay breeze.

We went here for the first time and what a wonderful surprise from the other restaurants here in Punta Gorda. The harbor view was amazing. We sat outside on the balcony and really enjoyed the view. The place has a great ambience and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was good but it is a little pricey.... More

If you go here make sure you sit outside overlooking the water. The view of the marina and the sunset over the gulf is worth the visit. The indoor ambience is nothing special. The food is good but average at best. The seafood dip was more of a soup than a dip. The seafood platter was good and the grouper... More

My friend and I went their for lunch. Their outside deck is covered and has lots of fans which allows you to eat outside when it is sunny and hot. You sit looking over the Peace River and a marina. It is a very peaceful and relaxing view. The menu features a variety of seafood. They also have a sushi... More

I know this place gets packed, but the food is not really that good. Please hire some real chefs if you are promoting yourself as a "seafood restaurant". Have your cook go try the salmon at Perfect Caper. They will see a difference! When I order something to go, bar staff have an attitude, like it's too much of a... More

After having eaten at Pinchers the night before we were looking forward to another great experience at Laishley's Crab House. Unfortunately, it was not to be. The best part of our meals was the Ponce De Leon crab dip in the bread bowl. I ordered the seafood platter which came with limp french fries instead of hush puppies, a warmed... More

we went for lunch. Sat out on the deck overlooking the marina and the sound. Very pretty. We had fish tacos and grouper sandwich both of which were cooked perfectly. Had to wait a little long for our food and they were not crowded. That is my only criticism
