We started out with our usual Pommegranite Flip Martinis which are tasty. The Calamrai is the best I have had anywhere! It is breaded very lightly and fried perfectly. Always fresh and tender. The Thai sauce really makes the dish super special. It has both a spicy bite and sweetness from I think Molasses or something similar and peanuts to... More

For what we paid it was very so so! Dinner for 2 was $130 with no wine. Love fine dining but last 2 visits the food did not match the price.

Just adore this place and Rich and Jim who tend the bar with such grace and professionalism. They make every visit a wonderful experience. We enjoy the lounge menu and the margarita that these guys produce is a pleasure! Love the calamari--best I have had and beats every place in this state! appreciate the restaurant side for the special occasions... More

The owner is a very rude man. When something isn't "perfect," do not dare to complain to this surprisingly nasty proprietor. Narcissistic Caper would be a better name.

Started with a lobster taco appetizer, the whole lobster claw meat was huge! I ordered scallops for my entree and they were outstanding.

Owner is probably one of the only properly trained chefs in the area! Food is fresh....especially the salmon. They also have great happy hours and burgers in town.

Excellent wine list, very nice appetizers. The main course was very nice with many gourmet choices. Scrumptious desserts.

The best restaurant experience I have ever had. Tiny cream puff tarts topped with a creamy dollop of butternut squash were served simply as a beginning treat; the goat cheese appetizer was heavenly. The steak literally melted in my mouth. The dessert selection is unique and delicious. Then they brought out another tiny chocolate peanut butter tidbit simply as an... More

Cute little spot, but tucked back on the side of the building so it's not visible from the road. The interior seemed a little dark to me and the decor more contemporary than my own taste would dictate, but there were nice, crisp linens on the tables and friendly, proficient employees. I ordered the duck salad for my lunch. I... More

My son and I went to The Perfect Caper for lunch. We ordered the appetizer with the warm goat cheese, etc. and it was excellent. We then ordered sandwiches which were also top notch. The service was excellent and we will definitely go back again for dinner. Punta Gorda needs more upscale restaurants and hopefully, sometime in the near future,... More
