Many restaurants were closed early on Sunday. But not the Celtic Ray. They have variety of good beers and Irish food. If we did not have our 11 yrs old son, we most likely stayed longer and enjoy the music and beer!

4 of us drove from North Fort Myers on 27 July to celebrate a birthday. The service was almost hostile, the food was not like any pub food that I had ever had, just the other side of edible. I had checked menu prior for choices and prices, but when the check came it was more than advertised on internet... More

Good Afternoon. We are sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience at our establishment. We are very surprised to hear that our food is just the other side of edible; could you please let us know what you all had to eat? We are also very surprised to hear that our prices were not the same as what... More

Tonight (9/1) we went into celtic rays. Our second time there . I must say neither time disappointed. If you are looking for a great import selection , wonderful authentic pub fare and a wonderful staff look no further. I highly recommend their stuffed cabbage, Brenton chicken , and of course their fish and chips. The best part is sales... More

Celtic Ray is a "real" Irish establishment with a wide variety of beers. Staff is great and the owner is always there and willing to stop and talk. Definitely worth the time and effort to stop in.

Went for our second visit after visiting last year. Much as before the atmosphere was friendly and fun. They had music despite having only a few customers in the height of the summer doldrums. Music (Marcia) was fun and social in between sets. Our Bartender "Kansas" was a great socializer and super knowledgeable and attentive. Good fun. Food was a... More

Been traveling through Punta Gorda a lot recently and this is by far the best bar i've seen. Solid beer selection (guessing 15-20 on draft) with mostly imports. Food was surprisingly above average and better than most of the touristy restaurants in Fisherman's village. Also have disc golf on the outside patio which was an unexpected surprise for me.

Great atmosphere to have a beer. The lightly battered, but crisply fried cod was excellent. We ordered the large portion and it was enough for 2 people. Nice selection of beer on tap.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening with another couple who ate there previously. The place was not real crowded, so no wait. As you step in, it looks like you went overseas to an Irish or English pub. It is a little unique as you go up to the bar and order your drinks and dinner. My wife and... More

My wife and I have visited The Celtic Ray many times and have always enjoyed our visit, food and drink. They are famous for their Fish and Chips (lunch or dinner portion) and you will find many of the patrons eating this perfectly prepared dish, down to the authentic soda bread and butter. Other Irish/English food and draft beer (20... More
