While in the service, I was stationed in El Paso, Tex., and used to go to Juarez, Mexcio occasionally. I've been looking for something just as good ever since, but it wasn't until we paid a visit to Zapata's that I... More

I am not a fan of Mexican food so when our group decided to have their monthly meeting here I was not too thrilled. I tried a lunch pairing which was ok - the fried beans just looked nasty so I didn't even try them. This all American gal favors all American fare.

Zapata's cafe offers a diverse menu and excellent service. The queso fundida appetizer was especially good as was the chimichanga grande.

My wife and I recently went to this restaurant for their Cinco De Mayo celebration. I am not usually a fan of Mexican cuisine but I was pleasantly surprised with what we found. The service was very good even thought it was fairly crowded for the celebration and the food was very tasty. Prices are very reasonable, and the Margaritas... More

Ok, so I have lived about two miles from this place for about two years and have never tried it. Last night my BF and I got to go and I was impressed! I got the taco salad and it was huge and super good, only $10. BF got chimmy changa and that was great as well. Food was ready... More

Very limited on beers; service was mediocre at best; Food was nothing to write home about, though I do have to write it here. Their chips and salsa gave us both after taste...not "hot or spice" to anything as one might expect. We got the fajita's and the tortillas were stuck together. I asked for some salsa a little "hotter"... More

The service was very friendly and attentive despite me being a bit difficult at first due to the level of noise in the area where we were seated. They ran out of kid's menus and crayons and the waiter made it sounds like that is a common occurrence which shows lack of proper planning on their part. Thankfully the complimentary... More

The outside of the restaurant pulled us in for what was expected to be a great night of food . The other reviews was spot on the food came out with hot plates and dried out food . The fish tacos were just Ok. Lexie did a great job keeping the glasses full .
