I don't leave reviews with complaints as a general rule. Zapata's isn't a fabulous restaurant, but it could have been much better with a few small details attended to. If the menu says topped with fresh guacamole, there should be more than a smear of garnish. Very misleading. And asking for additional guacamole shouldn't cost me $1.50 more for two... More

Stopped on a Monday about 6 pm. Got seated right away. Decent crowd made me think it was a good choice. Not so much! Got chips and salsa relatively quickly and they were tasty. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. Someone finally took our order. We both ordered steak fajitas. They came with disgustingly filthy handle covers. The meat... More

This is a very shady place. Left cash tip, but the restaurant took it upon themselves to add a tip to my credit card. Only a few bucks, but very unprofessional. Hope it was worth it. Food was fine -- fish tacos were well seasoned and the carne asada burrito tasted like a carne asada burrito. What wasn't fine was... More

Great lunch specials chosen by the staff as favorites, always try them. They have an interesting raspberry sauce that you need to try. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh.

We went with my future in laws before the holiday because it was near their house. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday night and we were about to discover why. 2 out of our 4 entrees were brought out first & we had to politely let the food get cold while we waited for the other two. Did I... More

This was my first visit to Port St. Lucie. My daughter was attending a small Civil War reenactment and I was looking for a place that we wouldn't feel too awkward in her Civil War attire. After driving up and down the main strip we finally settled on Zapata's for dinner. The meal was very good. The portions were more... More

Stopped by Zapatas for dinner after seeing it right on US-1 between Port St Lucie and Fort Pierce. We had a great meal. The food was served very hot temperature wise and was also delightfully spicy hot. The place was clean and the service was friendly and prompt. There was a good variety on the menu and the servings were... More
