This restaurant was great. Beautiful views and delicious food. We called earlier in the day to make a reservation for a party of 6. They were very accommodating. Thinking because it was a Friday evening, we'd have to wait some. But no, when we arrived, our table was ready. Everyone in our party loved their dinner. I has the Gouda... More

We recently visited the Sunset Coastal Grill, but this time it was for lunch. We had not been there before at lunch, though we have visited several times for supper -- and the sunset. Lunch was as good as supper. I had a fried fish filet sandwich, which was Cod -- the only disappointment for I had hoped for Grouper.... More

The Sunset Coastal Grill has the best food on the Forgotten Coast! We ate there several years ago and decided to try it again on our trip this year. We decided to go with the steak as we had already had seafood every night. By far this was the best ribeye I had ever eaten. I am not sure of... More

After a day trip to Weha, we were passing through Port St. Joe on our way back to Apalachicola. We spotted the Sunset Coastal Grill and stopped for a late lunch. I had a soft-shell crab sandwich and my wife had gumbo and salad. I really liked the crab sandwich and the gumbo was very good. Not quite New Orleans... More

We had a wonderful meal and very good service. Will visit again. Our table had a great view of the bay.

We ate at Sunset Coastal Grill on June 15, 2014 for our anniversary. We had a nice table with a view of the bay. The food was delicious and the service was good.

We had a great meal with an even better view of the sunset. We spent the night at the Port Inn and walked along the bay before walking to the Grill for dinner. We were dressed in casual attire and were warmly welcomed. The fried oysters appetizer was excellent. We would have visited there again if we weren't traveling thru.

Although we do eat there other than Thanksgiving, we always plan eating there for the holiday every year. The food and service are wonderful.

The restaurant is big and rambling with family friendly atmosphere but the food was mundane and expensive for what you got! They are missing a good chef with light, flavorful fish dishes paired with a lovely wine! Grownups like to enjoy themselves too.

One of the nicest restaurants in the Port St Joe area! Super fresh seafood (daily) and great staff! I have Celiac disease and it was refreshing to find restaurant staff that was "celiac aware" My order was marked and I was told they could adapt some items as needed and the chef would be aware. Dishes are pricey but food... More
