We went for dinner. It was very pricey. Not sure if I would go back for dinner. But I have heard they have lunch specials. So we might consider going back for lunch next time we a down there!
We've eaten here a number of times over the past several years and have always been satisfied - sometimes more, sometimes less - but always looking forward to our next visit.
On several occasions in the past, we tried to get into this restaurant but found it closed. Saturday, 12/07/13, was our day. We were in Port St. Joe at lunch time and found the restaurant open, so we had lunch there. My wife ordered one of their lunch specials called Grouper Andoullie, which was tasty and served in a very... More
The five of us arrived in Cape San Blas at dusk after long, long, drives. We were tired and didn't feel like driving very far. Sunset Coastal Grill was recommended so we decided to go there. The food was good but not spectacular. Three of us had SCG Shrimp. The shrimp were tasty as were the fresh pea pods. Another... More
Fantastic location to observe sunset (if you get there in time)nice restaurant. Pleasant friendly service and nice menu. Pan seared tuna and grouper were delicious. Varied and affordable wine list. Even included ratings where applicable. Nice touch. All in all a pleasant meal. Must come back earlier to catch the sunset
My husband and I have a townhouse in Cape San Blas so we visit the area about three times per year. Sunset Coastal Grill is our favorite place to eat in Port St. Joe. I love the blackened shrimp. They have a nice variety of side dishes (not just the standard baked potato or fries). Great food at a good... More

It's a little more expensive and upscale than a lot of the local restaurants, so we saved it for our special occasion. We arrived about 15 minutes before sunset, and although things were in full swing, we were lucky to get a... More

Shrimp and grits a little pricey for the amount of shrimp but it was very good. I would have rated the restaurant higher but others in the party said their food was "just ok"
