worse one of the worse dining experiences ever. customer service was bad food was less than fair and prices unreal. The view was great. owner came over at one time to ask about our food and he appeared to be drunk and had just left a terrible argument with an employee who seem to be in control and humble. Then... Being locals, we try to support the community by shopping and dining here as often as possible. Most locals won't eat at Dockside because of the prices and the owners reputation around town, but we decided to try it again since it had been about a year. Huge mistake. We were seated in the main dining room and were almost... More

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences on record. It begins with an hour long 15-minute wait. 15 minutes was the answer to everyone that followed us. They ask for your cell phone number to call you when a table is ready. Great idea, but cell phone coverage in this area is poor at best. The hostess was new... More

Have visited each summer for the past 7 years...love the setting...just went in for lunch...two adult meals, appetizer, a soda & a tea=$65...Burger & fries were good, coconut shrimp were medium sized and overcooked, chicken wings were overcooked, and the onion rings were really greasy. Our server said he was usually the bartender & didn't seem like a trained waiter...seemed... More

Dockside has probably the best atmosphere in Port St. Joe. The fact that it is on the marina puts it ahead of all the other options, and the food is pretty good, too. Having said that, the value just isn't there. If you're on vacation and want to eat really good food on a marina watching the boats come in,... More

St Joe visitor for 48 yrs...spouse raised there...lived there few years. Dockside was fun when you could look out the windows from your tall stools. Last visit this week: personnel were untrained, no-personality, cleared our plates WHILE we were eating. Had to ask for refills on drinks. Extra $4 charge on shared meal even if it's the $38 seafood plate!... More

MahiMahi fish tacos overcooked, sauce not flavored other than overriding salt in the spice mix. Onion rings over battered so very they were very heavy. My husband had a fried shrimp poorboy that he enjoyed. Large lightly battered shrimp and french fries that were excellent...very crispy outside.Wait staff attentive and service was good. With one water and one iced tea,... More

We've been to Dockside several times and I always felt the food was just average - you are paying for the "view and atmosphere". We just went last week and I feel the quality of the food has declined from just average to poor given the prices. It's a casual place - people coming in with swimsuits and coverups, but... More

We visited here on June 10th and enjoyed a grouper sandwich along with a burger. Everything was cooked fine and the service was good. The view of the water front is Ok but not super. A little on the expensive for the area.
