The restaurant is on the honor system. You check off what drinks you drink and the same for the food. They are fast and friendly. Very limited selection of food items though, however my husband, two young boys, and I were all able to find something to delicious to eat. Slightly put off that hats or hair nets aren't used... We ate here as a family two nights in a row and enjoyed both the experience and the food. We tried a few things, fresh oysters (some were a bit small), baked oysters with cheese topping (good), crab stuffed shrimp (shrimp topped with a lump of crab mixture and baked - the best thing we thought and absolutely delicious!!), seafood... It is at nowhere and local. Started in 1985 when Hurricane Kate messed up the region. Menu is sparse. Oysters raw, steamed or baked with lots of parmesan cheese. Usual barbeque, hambergers, etc. Simple service- serve your our drinks, For Seminole fans it is a gator rich place. It is colorful and quaint and worth visiting.

Loved the causal, laid back atmosphere, shared seating was very cool, and the parmesan oysters are incredible!!!!! Can't wait to get back this fall and maybe sit outside this time!

This restaurant is a local treasure. The menu is appropriately limited. Except for a few items for kids or those who do not eat seafood, it's all seafood. The motif is shabby chic, the service friendly, the food presented quickly and right out of the oven or steamer (very hot). The help-your-self beverage cooler (honor system) makes the wait for... off the beaten path toward Appalachicola, but great food, self serve drinks (tap, cooler, all of it), just a nice little place with fresh oysters, seafood, etc. It's always good.

As others have said, this place gets busy fast so be prepared for a wait and possibly no place to sit while you're waiting out on the porch. We arrived fairly early for dinner (4:30 ~ 5PM) on a Friday (August 1) and the wait didn't seem too bad (20 minutes?). Definitely a place with a charm and vibe all... More

One of the best places to hangout with friends, make new friends. Great food, great atmosphere and awesome servers. Very busy, but so worth the wait to eat. Stuffed shrimp always my favorite as well as the steamed shrimp. Very unique. A must visit while in the area, you will not regret it. While you wait , enjoy the music... More

Indian Pass is an interesting place. It has been in operation since the 30's and has a special charm about it. The food was good too. It's a local attraction and can be crowded so there is likely a wait a dinner.

What has happened? Our last visit was disappointing because the oysters were not good and the service was as bad as it can get. Our order was not complete so we were glad we did not have to get more bad oysters.
