Favorite oyster place

One of my favorite restaurants. So laid back and fun. Full of friendly locals. Great beer selection and amazing raw local oysters. Great boiled shrimp too. Love this place!

Forget fancy dishes and complicated presentations, here you need to take your own drinks and the food gets served very basically in plastic trays, but man is it worth it! The shrimps and the oysters are beyond phenomenal. Absolutely not to be missed if you are even close to this place.

This place is not just food. It is an experience. We gorged ourselves on steamed shrimp, baked oysters, and smoked seafood dip. As you know from other reviews, the beverage choices are epic and the "self-serve honor system" unique. No sides, no salads, no veggies .... JUST AMAZING SEAFOOD, in a very basic (primitive) setting. Be prepared to get your... More

As other reviews have mentioned, there are maybe ten tables in this establishment. They furniture is basically dollar store outdoor furniture...plastic chairs and tables.....oysters are served on what appears to be cafeteria trays....with plastic forks...but they oysters are excellent. We ate both the raw oysters and the baked oysters and enjoyed every one of them. Drinks are serve yourself on... More

I was very disappointed. The oysters on the half shell were served on a plastic cafeteria tray, no ice, they were not very cold. My beer from the cooler wasn't cold. I understand keeping it simple, but invest in a cooler and serve cold drinks. The trays appear dirty.

If your not a local the concept will be confuse you. Honor system get your own drinks you don't see that hardy anywhere these days. Small menu but if you want oysters & shrimp you will enjoy. Nice to sit on the patio and listen to music.

This place resembles an old gas station or general store and the "menus" are slips of paper you place your order on and its all via the honor system---as you pretty much fetch your own drinks via the cooler or tap here. No frills dining for sure. But the guys in our group truly loved the oysters on the half... More

Pricey for us but fun night out while camping. Serve yourself beer on the honor system. Fun Karaoke Fri and Sat night.

This is a must go , when in the area. Be careful though because it's popular, try to avoid lunch and dinner rush. Otherwise the food is just heavenly, it's fresh and cooked to order so it's always hot. The oysters And streamed shrimp are amazing , you really can't go wrong here, best seafood place on the cape of... More
