While this raw bar was the closest to where we were staying, it's enough to say that I gave it a chance. It just looks like an old wooden gas station or general store from the outside. When we walked in, the predominant smell was that of dirty socks or old cheese. The hostess/cashier/server(?) told me to go pick out... More

After a sad experience at my beloved Raw Bar last February, I'm soooo happy to say that the Raw Bar is back in action and more wonderful than ever! The coolers are full, the shrimp is delicious, and they've even added a nice touch - you pencil in your order on an order sheet so you and the server can... More

If you like to Live Like a Local, then don't miss this place! Lots of character, and a crowd for Friday night karaoke. The grill outside always has a crowd around it. The gumbo was delicious, and the fish dip as well.

I love this sort of place. Recently, we stopped in for a quick oyster fix. We had a couple dozen raw oysters that were good sized but tasted strangely unpleasant because they were not salty. If we had known ahead of time, we would have gotten them baked or ordered something else - which, we learned later, is what others... More

Indian Pass Raw Bar may be a wee bit off the beaten path but it's worth the effort to find it! The oysters are Apalachicola fresh and the boiled shrimp is over the top. The place is iconic, quaint, wonderfully simple in our hurried world. The décor is "rustic" to put it mildly. The servers are helpful but don't get... More

If you do go to the Raw Bar, you may need some instructions when you get there. You will need a drink check list and a food check list from the person at the counter, then go to the back and find your drink and then find a place to sit. We shared a table for 8 with a couple... More

We brought another couple here last year at this time and we were sorely disappointed as they were out of drinks in the cooler and had no oysters. The staff was rude when we asked why. We went there for lunch last Friday and we were pleased to find it was back to normal. Had the stuffed shrimp and gumbo.... More

Reviewed in the New York Times a year ago, so it was on our list for this winter's stay in Panama City Beach. Went for lunch. No frills -- just good food. People were eating oysters and drinking beer, but we opted for bowls of gumbo and split an order of crab-stuffed shrimp. Great gumbo and pretty good shrimp. As... More
