Oh, the Best Ever

Took another road trip (75 miles) to try these oysters that we haven't had in over 20 years. Wish we hadn't gone....now we have a new standard. We shared the steamed shrimp and the baked oysters. Both were over the top great. Can't wait to return. It is cash only...no problem. The wait staff are... read more

We were told to come here for raw oysters. The raw oysters are to die for (if you like raw oysters) but if you don't.....we also had stuffed shrimp that was excellent. We ordered a second round after the first. We loved is restaurant so much, we went back the next day also.

Come early, grab a table and a drink or two from the wall of self serve coolers, and be sure to mark them on your drink slip! Next comes your order, mark everybody's choices on your food slip, give it to the staff and watch them go! Don't expect everyone's food to come out together, it comes as it is... More

So - if you want fancy-smancy fine dining and lots of fru-fru, this isn't for you. If you want a relatively small menu, self-service drinks, delicious food, especially the seafood selections, then this is your place. Very friendly staff, food was not especially fast, but that is because it is made right there behind the bar, and is very fresh... More

Great stop between Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. Tasty oysters and shrimp and fun kinda honor system going with the beverages. Service could have been a little bit better at the onset as we had no idea what we were doing when we walked in but figured it out soon enough. Historic little trading post that goes back to 1929.... This is a little hole in the wall and that is what is so attractive about it. The folks are friendly and the oysters were the best we've ever had. You may have a wait and the service is slow but friendly. That's only because it is so popular and they are always busy. If you are visiting the area,... More

We concluded our family vacation with dinner at Indian Pass Raw Bar. As many reviews stated its put your name on the list (no reservations), grab a cool drink from the cooler and take a seat outside to enjoy some acoustic music. There was a trio playing and singing which the kids enjoyed. It was a treat to dance with... More

This is an awesome out of the way seafood jewel. The beer cooler is on the honor system, the place is packed the stuffed oysters and shrimp were terrific, the crab legs were fun for our teenagers to learn from and the tee-shirts would so cool we bought two. Get there early, because they line up for this family style,... More

We Enjoyed the Honor System at the Restaurant. They give you a sheet to check off yourself and you can pick out what ever alcholic, no-alcoholic, or draft beverages you want while waiting for your table! Food for all ages. Great after a day of fishing or scalloping. This dining experience is definitely a step back through time. The Restaurant... More
