You know a restaurant is good when the same locals dine there most everyday. This is a favorite of local business people. They know they can sit down, order, be served, and out the door in an hour or less. The specials are worth ordering. Wonderful home cooked, southern food. Learned to eat okra there! All is excellent and something... More

I enjoyed the atmosphere, very simple and homey. The service was slow because the dishes were made when we ordered them! The shrimp, fish, stuffed crab and chicken strips were OK. All fresh and homemade. The cole slaw had pickles, which I did not particularly enjoy. The grits with cheese was yummy. If you enjoy fresh, homemade food that is... More

Just go and get the special for the day and don't turn down anything they offer! The servers and chefs at Sister's know their stuff, and they won't disappoint you in any way. Even when the special is something I wouldn't ever order I just go with it and I'm always impressed. Also, when they read off three or four... More

We ate lunch at Sisters June 24th. It was fairly busy at the time, but we got served right away. We had a chicken salad sandwich and a tuna salad sandwich - both were excellent! We both had the pasta salad side dish as well, and loved it! The kids had hot dogs.

My mom and I stopped in for lunch as a break from shopping while on vacation. We were told to pick a seat. Waited while 2 tables of local regulars were seated, given drinks and orders taken before they acknowledged us. We both had a chicken salad plate - was very good with fresh fruit and a muffin. Was quick... More

We were not greeted when we walked in nor told to sit. We stood there for a while waiting to be acknowledged. They were not busy, with several women 'working'. Two sat at a table folding silverware while one lady stood behind a counter and had a lengthy conversation with two other people. I wanted to walk out, but my... More

On vacation at St. Joe Beach, and wondered into town with my husband. Decided to try Sister's as we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Sat ourselves, and both had the lunch chicken salad club sandwiches, I had potato salad as side, he had cold slaw. One word: YUM. My sandwich was just what I was looking for,... More

Sisters lunches have been a favorite of locals for many years. Their home cooked lunch special is always a popular favorite.. The menu is varied with sandwiches and salads. They have a steak fry on Friday nights that is a bargain. The banana pudding, when they have it is so yummy. They serve (not advertised) breakfast on weekdays just until... More

The food was good and the people were super friendly...Loved the tuna melt! Was an unexpected surprise in an otherwise nothing town.

Iced tea was good. Lima beans and green beans were good. Mashed potatoes w/ gravy was just OK. The cornbread and the chicken salad were SWEET(yuk), not savory. Do not care for sweet cornbread or chicken salad, so would never order these again. Good enough meal, but would not go out of way to eat here.
