Peppers is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at and that includes in Mexico! I loved the vegetarian fajitas and my husband enjoyed the cheese enchilada. We came with a family gathering and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of food. Two days later we were back for lunch and equally satisfied. The food was fresh and... More

Recommended and frequented by the locals Pepper's is a great place to eat. Margaritas so big you could swim in them. The chips and salsa seemed homemade. Terrific menu choices made it difficult to decide.

Great restaurant, fantastic food and superb wait staff. My husband and I went for lunch and when we walked in the restaurant was packed. We knew it was going to be good and we were not disappointed. Even though the restaurant was crowded we didn't have to wait long to order our meals and the food came out quick. We... More

The restaurant is above average for a Mexican restaurant as far as decor and tables. The service was average. The food however was excellent Mexican food. I had the Jalisco combo which I would strongly recommend. My wife had the chicken fajitas which were also very good. The house margaritas were strong and delicious. We would go back here for... More

We had very good service on a busy Friday night, but the food was so-so. The salsa is excellent. The guacamole was fresh, but bland with no garlic, lime, cilantro or salt. The ground beef in the nachos and chimichanga was tasteless. I was very disappointed with the fish tacos, which had only a mayo-heavy tartar sauce instead of a nice... More

Had the wet Burrito and a large beer. The burrito was very good and the size of Large beer was eye popping. You will not be disappointed in the food, some of best Mexican food i have had. We will go back on our next trip to Pan handle. Wife had a veggie meal, and our bill was 15-20$ less... More

I've eaten here twice and I gotta admit .... there is great mex food outside of the swst ... this place has it ... the chili rellenos are as good as you'll find anywhere .... the taco salad is also a big winner ... the extra hot salsa is full of flavor, but they charge an extra $.99, so eat... Been to a lot of Mexican restaurants but I can go to this one just for the salsa & guacamole. Their dishes are great & my favorite is the shrimp & chicken fajita combo.

This was probably the best Mexican food we have ever had!!! If you are going to be in the Port St. Joe area, do not let the location (old downtown part) fool you. I had the Popeye Mexican chicken and I would drive nine hours back down there just for that meal again!!! My husband had the chimichunga and he... More
