Nice staff and value

My wife and I had a light dinner here. The staff was very nice. Dinner was only $9 to $10 each for a small entrée, potatoes and vegetables. My wife enjoyed the chicken. I got the crab cake and it was fine but not outstanding. A nice atmosphere. The mashed potatoes are great but if I got them... read more

We were driving from Jacksonville to Stuart and we're ready for a bite to eat. What another great TripAdvisor recommendation. My wife had the 5oz burger with onion straws and I had the fish and chips that I swapped mashed potatoes for. Great meal and service, very friendly.

My sister & I went to Monterey Grill for lunch the other day. Having never been there before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Dustin, was very friendly and paid close attention to be sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the mushroom burger and my sister had a salad topped with lightly... More

We took a chance eating hear without knowing much about this chain. We were not disappointed, We were seated after a very short wait. The waiter and staff were able and friendly, outstanding, and knowledgeable. The food emphasizes California healthy eating, and we both had a salad with a lime citrus dressing recommend by our waiter. My wife topped it... More

We have visited this wonderful little restaurant many times. It's our go to place when visiting the beach in Port Orange! It's casual upscale and the food is delicious. My favorite is the onion straws!!! Enjoy a meal at the Monterey Grill and you will be guaranteed a delicious meal in pretty surroundings :)

We really weren't impressed. The food is average, portions are small and the cheeseburger I got was not good, the bun was falling apart and the meat patty was small with just a thin slice of cheese on it... and that's it. My partner had a chicken sandwich, also, nothing special. I don't know, we just expected more. Maybe next... More

Reasonable prices for skin-tight portions. Many times i go away hungry after a meal here. Quality is usually good. Id rather see larger portions and pay more. Service is always good

If your looking for a real good juicy burger, go to the Monterey Grill. This had to be the best tasting burger that I have eaten in a long long time. They are not your Mickey D type of burger. They are big. Big and juicy. And the pile of fries are enormous. Did I mention the ice cold beers?

I've eaten here many times. The food is usually good, with variety. However, what will vary is the service! It can go from an 8+ (Never had a 10) to a mediocre 1+. Even the manager didn't do much. Food came cold, wrong order, or just never came! Prices are reasonable and depending on when you come, there can be... More

We usually encounter wait times when we have dinner at this restaurant so we decided to try going around 3 on a Sunday afternoon just hoping to miss the crowds. Our waiter greeted us with the comment that we had picked the best time to come as we could choose from every possible menu option. For a little while on... More
