What a great day! Several of us came, over dressed, and sat down to enjoy beer and oysters. It was a sunny day and a great day for sunshine and fresh fish. Loved my oysters and hubby liked the fish taco.

Friends have been telling us about DJ's for years...finally made it and we were not disappointed! Excellent grouper dinner!!! Coleslaw hush puppies were superior! The Seafood Chowder we right up there with the best I ever had...this is a casual waterfront restaurant with some old Florida charm!

Pros: Good sunset views outside dining on the Halifax river, good shrimp and fish. Cons: Pay bill and tip when ordering at the counter, over cooked oysters, not very much food for the $17 seafood platter, went away hungry.

I went with my husband and our sons several times. Indoor seating not that comfortable. I tried to order fried oysters both times and they didn't have it. No explanation. Staff not all that friendly both times, different waiters. I always try to find something positive to say about a place. It's right on.the intercostal waterway. They have outdoor tables.... More

My wife and I went to DJ's for lunch a few days ago upon the recommendation of the hotel and we were blown away! The Mahi sandwich was fresh, perfectly grilled, and tasted amazing. The service was great considering how busy they were. You can tell the food is fresh and you know why they are so busy all the... More

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I went here on the first day of our honeymoon, and we plan to visit at least one more time before we leave! The owner goes out and catches fresh fish every morning, and all the staff are fantastic. It's a relaxed and fun atmosphere right on the water, and a lot of locals go... More

The setting, the food and the staff are everything a waterside seafood place should be. This place is just awesome. You immediately feel comfortable, the moment you arrive. The steamed shrimp are some of the best I've ever had. And everything else I tried on the menu was just as good. It just feels so right. Maybe that's because it... More

We really enjoy visiting DJ's. The view is wonderful and the servers always friendly. The drinks are very reasonable. Only eaten there a couple of times. Nothing really exceptional. Wish there was more live music!

Really just another fried seafood joint under/near the Dunlawton bridge. Just like all the others you are mainly paying for the view of the intercostal waterway.
