Not much to look at from the road! But once inside the sliding door you have entered a great food establishment. We were seated at a table with a view of the docks and Halifax river. The... read more

Off the beaten path but worth finding. Great sunset views. So far we have had crabcake bites, mussels fra diablo, fish Rueben and steamed spicy shrimp. All have been amazing and better than anywhere else I tried in the Daytona area. The Long Island Ice Teas are also some of the best I have ever had.

Was in Daytona for Bike Week and checked out Boondocks! This is a small place, cozy and friendly. The 'Fresh Tuna Melt' is to die for! The "Blackened Mahi-Mahi' sandwich was also fabulous! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great! We will definitely be back when in town!

Quaint little place by the water. The food is wonderful! Mahi Mahi sandwhich is excellent as well as the clam and oyster sandwiches. Very reasonable prices and a great local hangout.

Average for a restaurant on the water that is trying to give that fishing village appeal. The food was adequate but not exceptional. They could do a little fixing up and a good amount of cleaning up. The help was very friendly, one of it's strong points. I would consider going there again but wouldn't go out of my way

We were only there for a drink at sunset. Beer was cold the place wasn't crowded at all, the sunset over the water wonderful. The wait staff was attentive, which I expected since there weren't many of us customers there. The no see ums were biting like crazy, though which for me spoiled everything. The staff brought out some kind... More

Boondocks is a local favourite and is often very busy at dinner time. During race week you can sometimes catch a glimpse of a driver or a racing legend here, having a fish sandwich alongside the intracoastal waterway. Food is great, beer is cold and the atmosphere is pure Florida.

While staying in Hawaiian Inn in Daytona Beach, we asked our bartender Dave the best seafood restaurant in the area. He didn't think twice, and said Boondocks. It was a great choice for us!! It's super casual, cheaper cocktails and great small bar outdoors atmosphere. The food was superb! I had the Oysters Rockefeller in a garlic spinach Parmesan butter... More
