My family and I stopped in Boondocks for dinner one evening. The atmosphere was wonderfull. Very casual and everybody was so friendly. I had a Miami Vice with dinner - never had one before and it was fantastic. The food was actually pretty good and the kids loved it. I think they had the best time feeding the fish french... More

While on a recent vacation, we ate at Boondocks based on its high scores on several web based sites. We noticed by the license plates in the parking lot, that a lot of locals eat there, so we were excited about eating there, but found it to be about average. We both had fish dinners, and while we enjoyed the... More

This place is casual but fun with good food at a great price. We went back twice while we were here. The steamed crab legs are very well cooked and at that price, outstanding! We had the garlic bread with cheese and marinara, also yummy. The spicy steamed shrimp are great too, fresh and not too spicy! If you like... More

Very plain open air aluminum pole / plastic siding structure. Picnic table dining, started raining while we were there, blowing in, the guy lowered a plastic curtain. Food was OK, nothing memorable, after the rain stopped, the "no-see ums" started biting like crazy, couldn't get the check quick enough - not their fault, just Florida & the open air venue.

Great little place! This was the first time we had been here. A must do if in Daytona. But, better get there early before the crowd.... :)

We always go to Boondocks at least once when staying in Daytona Shores. Its a no frills on the marina type place. The prices are better than most the seafood places on this side of town.Sandwiches are big . Mahi sandwich has 2 fillets. The peel and eat shrimp are tasty but are always hard to peel. Maybe overcooked? Ask... More

A group of us came in for lunch after being out deep sea fishing all morning. We all got our food and really enjoyed everything. Fish and Chips were wonderful, some had burgers, they were huge, and the wings are great. During our meal a rain shower hit and they had to lower the plastic windows, it got really hot... More

Great people and great food! We were a group of 10 and all had different food items... All of them were good. Only warning is that this is outside dining so be prepared if it is hot out.
