Very nice and helpful staff

Small restaurant on the water. The food was good and they had decent prices. Out of all the outdoor restaurants we ate at I found this one to be the most uncomfortable due to the heat. Even with the fans going it was pretty hot. Definitely go after sundown if possible. They had good sweet tea and... read more

We just ate here for dinner after an afternoon at the beach. I ordered a margarita that had a funny taste but I tried to drink it anyways... I asked the waiter about it and he informed me they don't have a liquor license so they use a wine base in their mixed drinks. It rendered the drink to the... More

The place where the locals go and the tourists return to! My favorite is the peel and eat shrimp! Cold or spiced are equally good. Grouper ruben is another treat. Oysters and crab legs also. For the non-seafood diner there are huge burgers, chicken sandwiches and cheese steak subs.

I like the white fish slightly blackened with the Boondock sauce. Our kids always stopped their at least once during their vacation for the crab legs. Lately the linguine is a bit too cooked and mushy but the fish is always good. The staff is wonderful. Very rustic and facing a marina. Can be very hot on a hot day... More

Every time I visit Daytona Beach I seek out Boondocks. It's a great place frequented by locals and tourists who stumble across it. They only have one draft beer, Bud Light, but at $1.75 a glass, I'll take it. It looks like a little hole the wall but it has great food and people! I love going there on a... More

We have lived here for two years now and kept hearing about Boondocks from other locals. So when our family and friends were here visiting and wanted fresh seafood we said "let's give it a try". There were 11 of us so we knew we would have to wait and were told about an hour. It took longer due to... More

Stopped by for lunch with my mom and brother. We were so hot and tired from walking around all morning in the excruciating and draining sun. Every employee was so nice and friendly. This was our first trip to Daytona and if we come back, Boondocks would definitely be a restaurant that we go to again. It has a great... More

We've been coming to Daytona Beach since 1996 and this place is awesome! Their staff has worked together for years and they are systematically like clock work with great personalities. The hamburgers are ground beef cooked to order with amazing fries. The peel and eat shrimp are fantastic as is the coconut shrimp dinner. Diedre our favorite server with a... More

A friend had told me about the hard to find place, I was so glad I found it! It was great food, low prices and great people. This is truly a place you must try out!

After reading both the good and bad reviews, I decided to go to Boondocks for lunch yesterday. I have gone to Boondocks in the past and have enjoyed eating seafood on the Marina. For me, it's about the quality of the food, not the wait, not the rude or nice wait staff on a particular day. It is also about... More
