This place started out as a "different" experience and we really enjoyed the food and menu. As time went on, costs drove changes to the menu and food selection. The last time we went was a disappointment. Hate to see anyone go out of business, but ....

This restaurant is no longer in business. A new restaurant (San Diego Grill) has opened in it's place. San Diego Grill is owned by the same owners who own Malibu Beach Grill and Monterrey Grill.

But a new restaurant is opening here soon. I was peaking in the window and a nice man came out and introduced himself as the manager of the Malibu across the street. He let us in to look around and it was beautifully remodeled . We cant wait to try it is called San Diego and is part of the... More

We thought we would finally try 27 Fathoms last night. It was closed!!!! It's sad when a small restaurant is overshadowed by the larger chains. We then went to Malibu Grill, check out our review there!

Closed. Per a sign hanging in the door. Hopefully a great place will replace it. It was never the same after the first chef passed away.

27 fathoms has become our new local favorite for Sushi and big eats when we're really hungry for something a little higher quality than most other local restaurants. We went for lunch the other day and Kyle gave us some great recommendations. We got calamari, the steak sandwich and the tuna tacos, which were easily the best fish tacos I've... More

My friend invited me to help her use a groupon. The server, Kyle, was very helpful in explaining our menu questions and was kind knowing we had a groupon. We shared the portobello fries. . . . really great. I had the fried chicken, bacon/sweet potato waffle. . off the diet. . . . with maple syrup. Very tasty. Would... More

Been to the restaurant several times & the food has always been good. This visit we had the salmon, the shrimp appetizer and cheesecake for dessert. Kyle, the waiter/bartender was great & attentive. Love the Happy Hour! However, little disappointed that the sushi chef had left & they no longer had the "Lobster Roll"! That was always our favorite!
