Well if you want unpretentious , good prices, and good old fashioned fried seafood this is it! Yea I know , fried-right? But it was tasty and not over breaded. Loved the Haddock, the crab cake was not all breeding either and the coleslaw fresh and very good, be careful, servings are bigger lol Will be back , gotta try... More

Fried items are always light and crispy, never greasy. Staff is always friendly, quick service. A go to lunch place.

Haddock and fried shrimp were very good. All fried food but we knew that going in. A little scary on the outside but clean and bright on inside. Our server Yani? Was excellent.

Read the reviews so I decided to pop in for lunch one afternoon by myself. I was not disappointed, it is just a plain unpretentious little seafood restaurant. Everything I had was fried but I believe you can order your meal prepared other ways. What you order is what you get, just basic seafood, nothing fru fru, which was exactly... More

We've lived in Port Charlotte for nearly 3 years when we moved here from Maine. Couldn't find fried haddock down here (which is my favorite!) until we went into this cute little place. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Best of all - the fried haddock! I also had the coconut shrimp and it was very tasty.... More

On March 25, 2014 we went with some friends to Shark's for fish dinner. The atmosphere is basic with limited seats. I ordered the Halibut and chips which I enjoyed. The others in our party ordered the Alaskan Pollock which was very tasty. Service was very good. We enjoyed our fish and chips dinner and will return for more the... More

We went there for lunch and got blackened fish, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, clam strips and chicken tenders. The coconut shrimp was probably the best! The chicken strips were a nice option for my son who is not a fan of seafood. The owner let us taste the New England clam chowder and Lobster Bisque. The Lobster Bisque was to... More

While staying in Punta Gorda, FL, my husband and I were looking for a reasonably priced, seafood restaurant, with good food. After reading the reviews, we decided to try the place. The restaurant is in a small strip store shopping area. We walked in and were seated right away. In fact, the waitress said "sit wherever you would like". It's... More

I am English and my parents had a fish and chips shop, so I think that I am qualified to know good seafood when I have it. Shark's Fish House ranks up there with the better places to eat seafood. My wife began with the clam chowder which she found very good. I had the lobster bisque. It was thick... More
