This was my first time eating at a Panera Bread... For "fast" food, everything was really good. I had a great salad and was impressed at the choice of sides that included an apple. The price was right and I had a big healthy meal that didn't feel like fast food.

Although this is a chain, we always have found the food to be fresh and well prepared. aStaff is very helpful, and the restaurant is always clean. We have been to several of the branches when on the road, but find that the Port Charlotte is at the top of the heap.

We ate lunch at this Panera Bread restaurant today, expecting the food to be the same as other Panera Bread chain restaurants. I was a little disappointed. The salad and soup were ok. The restaurant, however, did not have any salt...no salt shakers, no salt packets...no salt at all. I asked for some and the manager said simply that they... More

This Panera Bread in Port Charlotte offers all the delicious pastries, baked goods and breads that all Panera restaurants do. However, it also offers something that not all restaurants do- incredibly friendly and helpful staff. From the front end staff taking orders to the baristas to the bakers to the manager EVERYONE always has a smile, a friendly word and... More

Yummy sandwiches, soups and sweet treats, and their lemonade is perfect on a hot day. I like to stop here as a shopping break :) Good prices and quality food, what more can you ask for?

This is one of the few restaurants where I will eat - consistently great food, extensive menu for soups and salads - desserts are awesome. I especially like the fact that there are no antibiotics in the chicken and turkey. The staff are always so cheerful and welcoming.

6" Italian sub was fresh as could be with fresh sub wheat roll. Everyone was nice with a typical deli type atmosphere. I'll be coming here instead of the Panera in the same plaza.
