Love Baja Tavern, it is a great local place, staff is very friendly and good. We have been here many times. Tonight we had Mahi Mahi Pasta and Sirloin, Mushrooms and Garlic. Both were to die for. The steak was so tender, love the roasted potatoes. The Mahi was cooked to perfection, the pasta very flavorful. I don't often finish... More

But, I'll elaborate: I took my wife here for a date night this past weekend (11/15) as we were spending the weekend in Cocoa Beach. We decided to make an evening of it, and started with drinks and appetizers, we had the Lobster Cream dip (FANTASTIC), the Escargot (also Fantastic), and finished the appetizer course with Raw Oysters - everything... We sat at the bar with the water view and cruise ships. Relaxing though service was not great but we weren't in a hurry. My husband got grouper basket and I got the blackened grouper sandwich. They were both good and both $11.95. This was less expensive than other restaurants in area. It is located in a predominantly tourist spot... More

Right on the water at Port Canaveral - watch the cruise ships and fishing boats come and go. Bit pricey - typical for the 'Cove' as the entertainment area of the Port is called. Food quality was good with several unique choices on the menu. The Lobster Cream appetizer was certainly a first - bits of lobster in cream cheese,... More

Watch the cruise ships go out, the working barges do their thing and enjoy amazing seafood and friendly service. You will often get to enjoy great local musicians. The outside bar is delightful and less crowded than its more commercial neighbors. I had the fresh oysters on special and they were as good as any I've ever had. Seafood is... More

Great drink and dinner specials. We ended up closing the place down with our group as they enjoyed the live band and really brought a lot of life to this place. Food and service was great.

This is a great place with a view of the port and all the cruise liners coming and going. We were there on Sun. afternoon and got to wave bye bye to all the tourists making their way to Caribbean ports of call. There was a good group playing and the bar was comfortable and friendly. We only ate desert... More

I ate in this restaurant since the concierge of the Country Inn told me it was the best fish in the area. The place is ok. On the sea, down to earth. The menu looked a little bit overpriced for the overall look ($18-$20 for plate) but I thought that the plates would have big and the fish very good.... More

Be very careful of the larger places in town as they do not deliver the fresh quality or recipes this area has been known for. The folks at Baja Tavern have been preparing seafood and steaks in this town for 3 generations. They are local legends. We had Fresh Fish, Florida Lobster, Garlic Steak, and Fried Shrimp. (real not frozen)... More

The marguerita was great and it was lovely eating outside by the sea watching the pelicans fly by. We had steak, pasta with shrimp and burger. The food was only very average. Our waitress was lovely and very friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. Wouldn't go there for evening meal again I'm afraid.
