Port Canaveral waterfront restaurant. Great location but was disappointed with food. Claimed to have an award winning chowder. Average at best. Also had fried fish and fried shrimp basket. Both had a different tasting coating that was not to our liking. Staff friendly. Atmosphere casual... read more

We came for dinner on Tuesday night. We had the Garlic Shrimp and Blackened Mahi. The only thing that was good on each plate was the black beans and rice and plantains. I ordered a bottle of wine. The wine was not good was brought another and it ok. I am a local of Port Canaveral. I must say that... More

Great waterfront restaurant with super food and outstanding staff. We eat here every time we come to the area and have never been disappointed. The only drawback is that when the band is playing they are extremely loud, I mean knock you over loud - with that said - do not even attempt to eat in the bar area. I... More

Four for lunch, dozen raw oysters (good), two chowders (good), one burger (good) and two shrimp baskets (good, good). We enjoyed our visit, sat on the waterfront and watched the boats and pelicans. Worth another try on another day. Give it a shot, hope you like it too.

We have tried many of the places at Port Canaveral in the last year and we were not happy with Baja. Waitress was very nice but not knowledgeable regarding bar choices, also two of us ordered the lobster rolls and coming from New England originally I would rate these as poor. If you can not produce a good lobster role... More

Good food(very tasty) we had shrimp baskets, good service, and good atmosphere, the down side was the portions were small for the $13.95 price per basket. Otherwise, a good place to chat and watch the cruise ships go by!

For years I've frequented the various restaurants in The Cove at Port Canaveral, but overlooked the Baja Restaurant & Tavern, until a 'local' recommended it. The surrounding restaurants have put LOTS of money into promoting their establishments and facitilies, so this place is easy to drive by. Treat yourself to a GREAT dinner here. GOOD food, especially the seafood. Reasonable... More

3 years ago, it was pretty good. Saturday, tne fish and chips were tiny, tasteless pieces and the raw oysters looked better than they tasted. Also, don't sit outside unless you like cats. The waitress was the best part!
