This restaurant is in a strip mall, and I was expecting a very casual atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprise with the ambiance, it looks very well maintained and kind of fancy. I did not like the fact that the restroom doors are at plain view from every table at the restaurant. It was strange that it took them a while... More

Super sushi, great Thai salad, fresh fish, chicken with grilled onions and excellent carni asado. Menu features a wide variety and everything is excellent. You can't go wrong. My family loves the generous portions.

We love this place, always greeted with a welcome at the entrance, beautiful decor, classy table settings, cloth napkins, flowers, soft chairs or booth, and the management, food, and costs are great. They are so appreciative your business unlike some other restaurants in the area. Every variety of meal we have had was just tasty and surprising for the money.... More

What a great little place we ran into for Father's Day. It's Latin food - though they had an amazing special menu for Father's Day. The place looks fancy, cozy and the service is great! And so is the food. Very nice find.

I visited this restaurant because I wanted my son to experience the good food I had while visiting the Fort Lauderdale location. I asked to be taken there for Mother's day, so we went to this one in Pompano Beach. We were told there was a wait of about 30 minutes. I told my son, it's well worth it, so... More

We were nervous. Sat at bar. Given glass of water, fine napkin on our lap. Then soup. I felt like I was at a fancy joint. Plantains with cilantro dip brought out next. Serious.. This party is starting out great. $7.00 for 2 mouth watering pork chops. Samples of sushi . Server brought out iPad with pics . I wanted... More

Yesterday my husband and I found ourselves on Federal Highway in Pompano Beach looking for a restaurant. He suggested El Tamarindo Café II. I believe we were the first customers of the day for lunch. Our waiter came over and gave us each a complimentary cup of the soup of the day - vegetable beef. It had huge chunks of... More

We have had dinner here 3 times and each time it was delicious. Very reasonably priced and a special treat are tostones with a great garlic sauce that are served instead of bread. The atmosphere is lovely. We will take company here and are happy to have found a local neighborhood restaurant that we can frequent. The menu has a... More

Ate here last week after reading about it on Yelp but didn't find much about it on TA. Although in a strip mall, restaurant was designed well and has an appealing ambience. We were immediately greeted and offered a taste of the house wine which was lovely. Menu is very diverse with Latin and Asian dishes with a focus on... More
