They have some of the best German food around! Excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner! One of my favorites is the ham hock. Very friendly owners and staff. Cozy atmosphere.

One thing's for sure. You won't leave hungry. My favorites are the schitzel, the rolladen, the sauerbraten & the liver and onions. Darn it, now I'm getting hungry again.

I had the special beef dish of the day, which was tender and delicious. Also had the red cabbage, which is a favorite when cooked the... More

We thank for your business and review, however it is not true that we charge extra for everything such as sides (red cabbage, sauerkraut, carrots, spinach, potatoes, potato salad, noodles) are all included! Our menu is not ala cart! We do charge an extra $1.50 for a side of spaetzle or cucumber salad but that is it! That's reasonable and... More

This is a family owned restaurant that serves superb German Food - it tastes very similar to my Mom's cooking. I will definitely return. TIP: If you are a party over 4, you might want to call ahead for reservations especially on the weekend. This is a tiny restaurant which fills up quickly!

starting off with dark beers. continuing with a huge salted pretzel, (shared by two), and two very different schnitzels. one was a chicken shnitzel cover with sauteed onions, peppers, and a brown gravy, the other was done a la holstein. both differently delicious. always a great dinner, and heartily recommended.
