We had 4 summer special three course meals and we were all quite pleased. They were regular sized portions from the regular menu. With a $50 bottle of rose wine, before tip it was $50 a person. We would definitely go back for the regular menu in season.

Food was good and they had large portions. However don't know what the hype is. Place is clean and fills up with what looks like locals. However way too expensive for the quality. More like Miami prices but not the same experience. $50 for each entree in pompano beach isn't justified. Don't get the cocktails. They were expensive and didn't... More

We've been here many times over the years, and it is still very good. Four of us shared appetizers which were excellent, especially the pizza with tuna and the scallops. For main courses, the hog snapper was very fresh, although the pecan topping seemed like an afterthought. It just didn't belong on the plate. The prime rib cooked in a cast... More

I have been to Cafe Maxx in the past and remember it being very special and out of this world! On my last visit I ordered the Hog Snapper. It came overcooked, I believe that it sat under the warming lights too long while the rest of our orders were being prepared. My husband ordered a steak which was good,... More

We went for Sunday brunch and enjoyed it very much. Very different brunch menu and they also feature all you can drink Bloody Mary's or Mimosa's. The servers were very nice and we are definitely going back. We normally go for dinner so this was a different experience for us. Dinner is excellent too.

The food was just OK, the service, slow. They served my husband's steak rare when he asked for Medium and when they returned it it was overcooked and all the potatoes and vegetables on the plate were swimming in the juice that it had lost. INEDIBLE!

I've eaten here a few times without incident. Usually at slow times. My daughter decided to take me for brunch on Mother's Day 2014. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time. Even though the restaurant was half empty the hostess had to contact one of the owners on where to seat us. The owner looked at us and said... More

This is one of the best meals I've had [and I eat in a lot of different cities]. We started with Tuna shushimi pizza - amazing, on to the most favourable salad and main courses of shrimp and sea bass. For desert we had a warm chocolate cake. the flavours were bursting from our palette. Service was great, Ambiance great,... More

Our family has been dining at Cafe Maxx at least once a year for the past 25 years; my inlaws lived really close to Cafe Maxx and would take us there each time we came down with our girls. When my daughter was planning her beach wedding (for her grandfather's sake), she immediately wanted her small, intimate wedding reception dinner... More
