Wow! Celebrating my 40th birthday here with my family. We were all comfortably seated. Only 8 of us so a small party. We were told by management that we were not "allowed" to sit together because we had more than 7 people. That's right folks. My 8 year old son pushed us over the limit.. Mind you.. We were all... My wife, sister, and I ate dinner the other night at "Houston's" on Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach, Florida, which is locatted on the intracoastal waterway. They have complimentary valet parking for those of you driving a vehicle, as well as for boats. The food is great, especially the ribs with the baked potato, and the service is excellent. Be... More

We selected a comfortable booth inside with a very minimal view of the water, but the wait for an outside table was over an hour. The smoked salmon appetizer was enough for three to share and was prepared well. My grouper was cooked perfectly and was with a delicious lemon sauce. A coworker also greatly enjoyed her ribeye steak.

Houston's restaurant is on the water. The food is always consistent. I love the Thai steak salad, and artichoke. My friend had the veggie burger and raved.

Had a nice lunch of the Gulf Coast Fish Samwhich at the outside bar. Seems like a popular place all the time, but especially at lunch time the bar area is a nice place to watch the water and the game simultaneously. The tuna burger looked really good, though I did not try it.

One of the few restaurants located on the Intracoastal waterway. Houston is consistently very good for both their food and service. Sometimes there is a wait.

The most inappropriate display of discrimination towards a handicapped person, that I have ever witnessed. My friend and I attempted to eat here, and unfortunately we were not able to. My friend has epilepsy and requires a service dog by her side at all times, because the dog detects seizures. The restaurant management, asked for the dog's papers asked what... More

The food is always spectacular and I love that you can dine outside and watch the boats go by. It's so peaceful while having dinner and the staff is always courteous and helpful.

The build-up was enormous. The reputation well known. Too bad Houstons didn't deliver the goods. Although we were seated outside and had a wonderful view of the intercostal waterway, the view was the high point. The single page lunch menu was certainly nothing special. The prices were steep and the wait staff incompetent. I got the French dip ($20.00) served... More

Staff is always courteous, friendly and prompt. Menu is small but always consistent. In Pompano Beach it is located on the Intracoastal and beautiful settings, great boats!
