Fish Shack is an apt description. The food was indeed some of the best seafood I have eaten but the setting was somewhat unappetizing. So we went back the next night for carry out and enjoyed the delectable fried couch and the shrimp and scallop burgers while sitting on the beach.

Not fancy dining but everything they serve is fresh and very tasty. Just a few tables and small bar area but the short wait was enjoyable. The service is excellent. A place locals frequent.

We read the other reviews for this place and eagerly decided to eat there while visiting in Pompano Beach. We know that the hole in the wall restaurants are often the best places to get the best food, especially if locals eat there. The reviews are pretty open about the physical attributes of the place, such as being hard-to-find, a... More

Don't be surpised by the location and size of this little place. The food is awesome and the beer is cold! Will be returning soon I wish I had found it years ago. They do get busy and the waitresses can be mistaken for let's say not happy. I believe its because they run there butts off the please the... More

Food is amazing, for a little dive . It truly is hidden one block West of Federal Hwy (US1) .we arrived. Just @11:45am. A small counter w/ nine stools and about total seating maybe total 12-14 seats. We started w/ cracked conch & conch fritters. Then I ordered the shrimp & scallop burger , made to order . So it... More

The place is really small and zero ambiance but the food is well worth it. The scallops are the BEST! Friendly folks and inexpensive beer.

Food here was excellent. The raw oysters were washed clean so there wasn't a grittiness with them and large. $6.95 for 7 which is better than any place we've seen so far. The place is really small with probably 10 tables so expect to wait unless you get lucky. The only complaint is the beer selection is Budweiser. It would... More
