"This is a tiny authentic Naples-style italian restaurant with no menu but amazing food. You are asked what you'd like: pasta, meat, or fish. Then they tell you what they have available that night. Reservations are highly recommended. This packs up even in non season. (They close in September to return to visit family in Naples, Italy). Everything you eat there is wonderful! Helped along by the wood oven, homemade pastas, and family loving care to each dish".

A Special Occasion Place

Cafe La Buca is a great little find. It serves lunch from 11 - 2pm. There are 2 seatings for dinner: 6pm and 8pm. Reservations are a MUST on the weekends, and highly recommended during the week. They do not have a liquor license, so it's a BYOB, and wine glasses are provided. We've been to... read more

Small restaurant, sits maybe 30d, located in a non descript place, wouldn'y have gone in except for a friend's invite. This is probably the best italian food I have had in the US. No menu, bring your own wine (they have a short wine list available at reaasonable prices), the chef (italian, previous owner) and his girlfriend waitress suggest what... More

What a gimmick! No menu, limited choice with no pricing. A pasta dish that supposedly is family style for $38.00, I don't think so. The only thing missing in this restaurant is a 'pistola". Oh yes, the food is just O.K. nothing to rate!

Be prepared for an authentic Italian food experience. No menus...what Nona has prepared based on the freshest ingredients of the day is that which is offered. There is usually 3-4 options to choose from for each course, all of which is served family style. The pasta course was amazing, the lamb pops addicting and the brazino simply prepared to allow... We loved our first dinner here! Great, friendly service. We brought our own wine. Delicious appetizers. Then we chose a pasta and main course to share. Both were amazing - the pesto is to die for! We even treated ourselves to the best cannoli I have ever had!

This place is an absolute gem. I love it!!!!! Byob and your appetite. Go with the flow. Food is outrageous. Mama oversees all. The brussel sprouts are fantastic. All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy. The food is the best

We have been before a few times and enjoyed our visits with a bit more pressure each time we went. This time was the breaking point. We waited 30 minutes outside in the parking lot as this is a tiny restaurant to sit down, not a big deal, but there is no where to really sit or wait. Finally we... More

Naples born and Naples inspired cooking. Everything is fresh and delicious. Not expensive either. Restaurant is small - reservations are a must.

Cafe La Buca is a hole in the wall, must make a reservation, and byob without a corkage charge. The menu changes daily & expect to pay for the good quality of the food served. We had appetizers, the daily pizza, salad, and pasta. That was enough to satisfy us that night. This is a local place that I'll be... More

My friend took me to this place for dinner last year when I was in town. It was a great experience, so I asked there to go back for lunch this time. We ordered broccoli rappini sautéed with sausages, garlic and oil. Although the sausages were a bit caramelized, it was quite good and eatable. The pizza margarita was very... More
