Ranked #42 of 301 restaurants in Pompano Beach
Certificate of Excellence 2014
Cuisines: Italian
Dining options: Reservations
Description: "This is a tiny authentic Naples-style italian restaurant with no menu but amazing food. You are asked what you'd like: pasta, meat, or fish. Then they tell you what they have available that night. Reservations are highly recommended. This packs up even in non season. (They close in September to return to visit family in Naples, Italy). Everything you eat there is wonderful! Helped along by the wood oven, homemade pastas, and family loving care to each dish".

yeah, it's in a rundown shopping strip that you'd generally speed up to get past ... and the décor is 1970's Woolworth dining counter ... and the service can be brusque and you'll never really know everything they have on the menu ... get ovah it! food is incredible. roasted peppers and mushrooms as appetizer were outrageously good. we had... Marco the Chef is amazing and attentive to all that happens in his restaurant. There is no menu. There is a freshly selected array of appetizers, pasta dishes, meats, and desserts to choose from as well as pizza. The pillow type rolls are awesome as is everything he prepares. BYOB wine and they gladly serve to you in wine glasses... More

The place has no menu, but the pledge is that everything they cook is fresh of the day. And its true. This a family run restaurant, they are from Napoli. I loved the heavy accents, and the food goes without question. When I walked to meet with a friend, they told me they have no menu, but that everything they... More

We enjoyed cordial and attentive service at Cafe la Buca. There isn't a menu, so be prepared for sticker shock. The restaurant has the annoying policy of owning the water glass; no tap water is available. No liquor license here, so BYOB of wine, no corkage fee. Unlike other reviewers, our wine was served to us in stemware. We had... More

My husband and I went to Cafe La Buca Saturday night, 4/26. This restaurant came highly recommended. Our experience was bad from beginning to end. Our appetizer came out cold. We asked for it to be reheated. It came back 1 degree warmer. Still cold. Bread burned. See pix. No butter or oil for the bread. Had to ask twice... More

Prices of 5 star cuisine, no liquor license and no dinner menu. Whatever they will bring out is game. $16,- cheese pizza and $6,- water. Ask for the lunch special and you're not being answered, merely shrugged off. Waitstaff best attitude is ... wait. Fresh food cooked and served with attitude seems to inspire patrons to return for more of... More

We dined at this restaurant and had an awful experience. We were aware that there was no menu And that patrons needed to arrive with their own wine. The appetizers were very good with the exception of the pasta, which came to our table Luke warm. We ordered the snapper and the staff did fillet it at our table, however... More

Food was outstanding! No menu. Freshly made pasta, burrata cheese, hot bread, deliciously prepared Bronzino, homemade tiramisu, and even the cappuccino was delicious. Byob. Atmosphere is extremely casual. Closed Sundays. Limited seating; make a reservation!
