The training of staff here is nothing short of amazing. Wonderful service and food and good variety. Great looking Bar area and very handsome restaurant overall. 2 drawbacks_ very pricey, very noisy.

Amazing food, great wine list, knowledgable staff and delightful ambiance. The grilled salmon was especially good served with the Isreali couscous. We would definitely eat here again.
Love the food. Service is great. Good place for a date-night or family celebration. Watch out - the serving sizes are enormous. A soup and salad here is enough for dinner.
A fair selection of choices. Meat dishes were pretty good and so was the salads. Very good service but sometimes a little to pushy. Drinks on the high side costwise
My wife and I dropped by for lunch recently and my first impression of this restaurant was one of wood and leather, which I like. The room was dim, but comfortably lighted, which I also like. The menu is extensive. The service was very good and attentive. The servings are generous and tasty. We went there for lunch and it was hopping. Great atmosphere.
As a local, I'm disappointed with J Alexanders. After several visits, nothing has improved. Staff appears to believe taking 13 minutes to say hello, 8 minutes to remember to bring silverware (AFTER meal was served) and never check back is okay. Food tastes like the cooks are okay with preparing bland, overcooked fare. Sorry, this is not a place I'd...

this was the best ribeye we ever had and drinks are strong staff was great too very pricy it was very loud in there and each drink was 12$ but like i said they are strong and very good we would definitely go back and have less drinks lol that will cut the bill by 100$
This is a great place for both dinner and drinks. The chicken rolls for an appetizer is great. The chicken Thai peanut salad is delicious. And try a pear martini or a lemon drip.
Once our very favorite, but new food changes NOT good. Their previous delicious and plentiful garlic 'smashed potatoes', are now soupy, regular ole plain 'mashed' potatoes anyone can make at home. What a BIG disappointment! Our waiter told us no more/gone are our favorite 'smashed potatoes'! The bread was plain, warmed slices with a wedge of butter. No extra choice...
