We made a reservation for 9 people and showed up with 10, no problem. We were seated right away, and the service was great. I had checked with my Cuban girlfriend and she gave the thumbs up to Padrino's, it didn't disappoint. The guys were happy with their Cuban sandwiches, I had shrimp and plantains, shrimp was a little overcooked... More

The food was OK, the service was OK, the decor is getting run down and the place is quite dark. I had the steak, which was fine, but the plantains were cold and the rice was dry. One other person said his shrimp was not very good, and a third commented that her meal (cheicken) was just average.

Well we love the Monday through Friday buffet. Everything is always fresh and tasty. They have salad, soup, rice, beans and hot entrees. All for $9.99. If you would prefer to order off menu, you won't be disappointed either!

Every time we go to the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area we eat at Padrino's and have never had a slightly below par experience. The Ropa Vejea is outstanding--the meat is tender, no fat, flavorful and there are plenty of onions and peppers. We always get yellow rice, black beans and fried plantains to go with the meat. All of which is... More

If I am ever in the mood for Cuban Food - it is always for Padrino's. It is a tradition with my friends and family that we start with Mariquitas. They are plantain chips with a garlic dipping sauce. My go to is Pollo Relleno. It is chicken with cheese and yellow rice. It looks like a brick of yummy... More

The food and service was excellent. My wife and I love Cuban cuisine and try to get it whenever we can (living in Ohio that is difficult). I have often said that restaurants should have a sample dinner that includes a small portion of several of their specialties. The reason.... you go the first time and order something that turns... Ordered out. I wanted pork chunks and these melted in my mouth. They didn't come the the hard skin but they were tasty! Arroz Morros, delish. Don't care for sweet bananas but I ate them, that means alot. Next time I'll have to sit in and really enjoy the food!

The line for the lunch buffet never stopped and the restaurant was so crowded, it wasn't my idea of a great lunch stop.

Great Cuban restaurant. The server was spot on with her recommendations. Had the roast pork with veggies and rice and beans. Portions were very big. Taste was wonderful. I was so sad to be full as I did not want to stop eating. Also had a mango mojito. It was really good. My mom had the Cuban sandwich with fries.... More
