Well worth the stop

I had read some reviews of the various local stops in Plant City, and after eating here last week, I wonder about some of them. From the outside, its obvious that the nature of the establishment you are entering, and that should be a clue as to the level of your expectations. It's an American old... read more

My husband and I went to Norma's and much to our disappointment we waited to order, we waited almost an hour for 3 sandwiches, the girls were condescending and totally never ever had training on restaurant manners, nor do they know how to change gloves after taking money. The older gentleman looked like a roach running around aimlessly. My husband's... More

Cuban sandwich was good but the service was terrible. Waited at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone said anything ,Hello was not even said. It took 25 minutes just to get a sandwich. The place is old and dirty, I will not return.

I've always passed by but never stopped in, today I'm REALLY glad I did. It's a little hole in the wall full of flavor and friendly people! The owner Norma is a very warm delightful person she made me feel like family! I will definitely be back!!

We know and love Cuban sandwiches. There was very little cuban pork, if any, mostly ham, and no mojo that we could see. It did have mustard and pickle, but only if you order it "all the way". Not on our return list. On an after thought, the Sugar Cookies are excellent. Might go back for them.

I was warned that it isn't an attractive place to eat and it's not, it is an old gas station converted into a Resturaunt but the Cuban food is soooo worth it! I got the steak sandwich and it was delicious, wasn't thrilled by the stuffed potatoes I won't get them again.

Norma's offers a good cuban sandwich. I find it has a little too much ham on it sometimes but other than that, they also offer black bean or garbanzo bean soup that is also pretty good. I usually get a half pressed cuban with a cup of soup. Lunch time is busy there so go early-late or call if you... More
