Wonderful food; over two hours before all served

Knowing we had a large group (20), I made contact over 24 hrs in advance and confirmed arrival time within 8 hours. Upon arrival we were promptly seated, drink orders taken and quickly served. Appetizers were much the same and wonderful selections I might add. The orders for the entrees was... read more

My husband and I usually go here once a month or so. He loves the Jambalaya and I love the meatloaf (it has a nice kick). We both love the bread pudding. He loves the Cajun food and spices. The servings are quite generous and the service is good. The prices are very reasonable for the size of the servings.... More

What a surprise find, just moved in and drove by so we stopped for a great lunch. Really cool inside next to the water and so authentic we were waiting for a gator to sit next to us

I've been here several times, everything I've had has been excellent, portions are generous, the service is good and the prices are very reasonable. Lots of choices in the $12-15 range. If you like beer they have all sorts of unique varieties. Try the whiskey bread pudding, it's worth the trip all by itself.

Love this rustic place, it is actually overlooking what could pass for a Louisiana bayou. It has fantastic and genuine Cajun food & Cajun beer, as well as a wide variety of micro beers and regular beers. The premises is virtually a rustic tin shack making for a real Cajun like ambiance, Cajun music included. Good Cajun food is hard... More

Friends have recommended this place to us for years. We finally went for lunch. It was amazingly delicious, and we were sitting 'on the bayou'. My wife had crab cakes, I had the gumbo and we finished with a 'take out' whiskey cake .... Amazing. Oh and their craft beer selection is amazing. Highly recommended ... don't be deterred by... Wife and I have eaten here over the years and have come to believe that you can depend on pretty good service with excellent food. I pretty much stay with the Po' boys. I have had other things on the menu but the Po' boy it in my opinion is the fairest priced of things I like. I also like... More

It's a favorite of my life partners and mine to travel to. It's typically a 45 minute ride there. The bread pudding is awesome if you make it to it. I tend to get the soft shell crab or traditional Cajun dishes.

For years my wife and I have been driving by this restaurant. For years we have been saying to each other that we should go there sometime. But yet we never have. Alas, this past week after a morning at the Flea Market we decided to stop in, as they are next door to each other....and now we are kicking... More

Cajun Cafe On the Bayou has always been one of my favorite places in Pinellas County. However, it had been a few years since I've been back to it as I moved away from the area in 2010. I was back to spend time with my family and decided to have my birthday lunch On the Bayou, hoping it was... More
