great!

Our family group of 5 adults and 2 children enjoyed our best seafood meal here while on vacation. The cajun cooking was amazing. We ate outside and although it was warm, the ceiling fans in the area helped alot. We enjoyed the great location, excellent food, and the selection of local beers... read more

I have lived here my whole life and was excited to finally try this place after hearing good things. Too bad we won't be back, because the food was actually good, but that's only half the equation to eating out with our family. It is very clear that they DO NOT WANT KIDS THERE. I have never read a menu... More

Sits on the river with real cat fish. Food is great. Everything I have had has been great. They have many craft beers from the area. Try the corn bread. The best

We enjoyed a great dinner here. One wonderful aspect is they don't allow cell phone use and that creates an opportunity for conversations. I love it! Outside and inside dining. Large local beer selection. Deck sits over channel of water with mangrove around.

Felt like I was back in New Orleans again! Came with a friend, had gator bites which was SO good! Lots of local beers on tap and many more in bottles.

I've been enjoying this restaurant for several years now, this is my favorite casual restaurant, hands down. I'm originally from Maryland and the crab cakes at the Cajun Cafe' are actually better, more flavorful. The oyster po' boy is another of my favorites, but everything is awesome. Don't get me started on the catfish, it's the best you will find!!... More

We visit at least once a year and are rarely disappointed. Food is freshly prepared and service is friendly and efficient. Beer menu is based on local craft brewers with a selection of serious international beers too. Try the soft shell crab with a Barley Mow... It's a great setting too but do check opening times.

I went here maybe 2 years ago now but I still remember vividly the Catfish Etouffe I had there. I can't even remember what else was on the plate. The catfish was fried perfectly and blanketed with the lovely etouffe (tomato based sauce) and maybe there was some rice. We sat outside on the patio and there's a lake back... More

We went with friends who had been before. Two of us were from New Orleans. I felt like I was back there. We had an assortment of food. The boiled crawfish was awesome. We had soft shell crab that was very good. We also tried the sausage. The crawfish sausage was amazing. The staff was very attentive. Wa sat outside... More

Good beer selection. Interesting menu. Gator Sausage appetizer was good. Deep fried meatloaf was good. Inside seating was limited and uncomfortable. Tables are too small for 3 or 4 adults. Staff was not very engaging. Nothing bad. It was just ok.
