Wonderful food and hospitality.

First time. We arrived for an early dinner and were not disappointed. I ordered the medium heat and it was just right. My wife ordered the mild and was still too hot. It won't stop her or I from returning. It's been a long time since we ate food like this and didn't realize how much we missed it... read more

I have only been here for lunch - once before some renovation and then after. There have been vast improvements. However, the food has always been excellent and the staff is always friendly. The building, while always clean, is minimally decorated and there is little ambiance. However, I find that many ethnic establishments go overboard in this regard. It is... More

Such a great diverse menu. And the $2 happy hour 3 Daughters beer is unbeatable. There are plenty of thai and vietnamese options in the area, its nice to have a good indian restaurant as well. We'll be coming back regularly.

This review is for the St. Pete location on MLK, which opened last month. We went for the weekend buffet, described in the local news as having more dishes on offer than the weekday version. Arrived 30 min into the buffet, and sampled about 8 dishes including aloo gobi, corn fritters, the ever-present butter chicken and tandoori, some unidentified fish,... More

I tried Indian food for the first time a few years ago when I was stationed in Georgia and I have been hooked over since. I moved back to Florida last year and one of the first things I did was try and find a great restaurant that serves Indian Cuisine. I cannot begin to explain how happy I was... More

I can't wait to go back for the lunch buffet. The garlic naan is probably my favorite. When the fresh naan comes out of the oven, they don't just through it on the buffet line. They walked around to each table and offered hot fresh naan. That made the experience even better. I'm a vegan so I can't speak on... More

This is such a fantastic place for people wanting to try something exotic and different! The interior of the dining area is simple, spacious and clean. You will be met at the door by wonderful hosts and greeted with a cacophony of scents, traditional to Indian cuisine! The buffet features a variety of simple and complex dishes and they are... More

Simple decor but the food is outstanding. Honestly one of the best Indian food meals we have ever enjoyed and we have tried Indian food all over the world. Form the start with the tamarind cilantro appetizer to the chicken tikka masala. Many good dishes to choose from. Service was friendly .

Admittedly I am not a connoisseur of Indian food though I have traveled in India. I met a friend at The Clay Oven for lunch recently. We had the buffet which I believe is the only lunch option. I liked the tandoori and some of the bean items. It was certainly not overly spicy. We arrived at opening time, 11:30... More

We went for the lunch buffet....best value always. They had a great selection that day. Goat curry, Muttar paneer, chicken vindaloo, croquets, awesome tandoori chicken, charred yummy naan...all excellent! Craving it now...we will see you soon! Go for Lunch on an empty stomach!
