This is one of our family's favorite places to eat. We love the slaw and the bisque. The staff is friendly and the food is great. A great local, laid back atmosphere with tons of character. Always great fun!

We returned for another meal after two visits in the last week. My tuna steak was not of good quality, and much too spicy to be eaten by a human. My wife's shrimp was not fresh and overcooked. Our problems with our food were expressed in a polite manner and our expectations are not unreasonable for entrees cost almost $20... More

We got take out food from The Point, and it was very good. Delicious, plenty of it, and decent price, just what we wanted!!

A co-worker told me about this place and said to be sure to go on a weekend night as the house band plays bluegrass (and the food is good). We were not disappointed. Our waitress was very informative and had a great sense of humor - we were steered toward the locally caught choices (and steered away from frozen items).... More

Driving by you would almost assume nothing is open and that it is not even a business. Parking in front is not the best when the road is busy but there is room in back. Rough around the edges, and in the middle too, but judging from the photos, awards and Blue Angels signed posters on every wall it is... More

I'm surprised to see the poor reviews this restaurant has been receiving, though I admit that the service on extremely busy nights can be a little spotty and that once or twice over many, many visits we've had a server briefly cop an attitude. STILL ... it's enough off the beaten touristy path that even in the busiest of holiday... More

This restaurant was recommended to me and my family when we were at Cobalt Restaurant in Orange Beach by a waitress. When you drive up to this restaurant-trust your first impression. Yucky. Once you get inside it is even worse. The floors are broken old tile, the staff is not very friendly and the service was very mediocre. We were... More

We've been going to The Point for years, mostly for lunch. They used to have some of the best calamari appetizers around, but quit serving that dish. The dish that keeps me coming back is their oyster sandwich. There is just something about it that I crave! They're soooo good!!! Picture this, buttered & grilled Texas toast, with succulent FRESH... It's too bad when one thing goes wrong and makes for an unpleasant evening. It's a terrible shame when things go from bad to worse. They have done just about everything wrong from a long wait for service to cold food, missing orders. After all that, the waitress was downright rude and when we asked for the manager we were... The food was delicious and the blue grass music was very entertaining! The service was a little slow and they forgot my salad, but they were extremely busy.
