Blue Grass Fun

Took my father and step mom hear on a Saturday night hoping to avoid the madness on the beaches. We were sat at the large table in front of the musicians. Kids loved the music, a local boy got up and did a number of songs with the band. The food was perfect coastal casual, fried mullet, gumbo and... read more

We have been long time Point fans. However the past couple of times, I have dreaded going because of the general uncleanliness of the restaurant. It seemed like it was dying a slow, painful death. We went last night, because their food is always good. Much to my surprise, they had installed new flooring, painted in light colors and you... More

On our last night of vacation we ate dinner here. This was by far the best meal of the week. The staff was very hands on and friendly. This is must go to place.

food was ok, place really needs an upgrade. Blue grass music was kind of cool but the place is so loud hard to have a conversation.

I've been going to the Point restaurant for years, and this is the first time I decided to write a review. This is truly a Perdido institution, but it's not for everyone. It's a little off the beaten track, if you're a tourist trying to find it on a dark night, but stopping in on a Friday night with their... More

Excellent location, food and waitstaff. Came here with my family and this place is great. We will dine here again every time we stay in Perdido.

No music playing and it was very run down inside and worn out. The wait staff was arguing in front of the entire restaurant and only one cook was working because he "hadn't called for help yet." The food was decent, not worth the price paid; everything was very bland with no flavor. The atmosphere created by the people working... More

Stopped in for a late lunch while waiting for our beach house to be cleaned. Quiet, dark restaurant at midday with great waitstaff!

While my husband liked it here, it was too crowded and too noisy for me. Wait staff kept bumping into my purse that was hanging on the back of my chair. It's obviously a popular place, but not my cup of tea. I didn't find the food extra ordinary but maybe I was just burned out on seafood at the... More

This place was so special to us. We were eating there on a Friday which made it more special. Friday and Saturdays they have Bluegrass Music that starts around 6/6:30 pm. The place just takes ya back in time when America was simple. The food was mostly deep fried seafood (Oysters, mullet, scallops etc) and of course burgers, fried fish, hush... More
